What To Expect

Your tour of Paris’ atmospheric, trendy Marais neighborhood begins at a convenient meeting place in the heart of the district. Choose to set off in the morning or afternoon, depending on what works best for your sightseeing schedule, and explore with just a small group for company.

On this tour for food lovers, you’ll head off the tourist trail and visit the neighborhood’s locally beloved bakeries, chocolate makers, and other traditional food shops. Be sure to come hungry: Over the course of several hours, you’ll stop at up to 10 local addresses, where you’ll indulge in classically French treats ranging from macarons and cheese to wine, bread, jam, and much more.

As you go, your guide will bring the district’s history to life, and will share stories and point out landmarks that you wouldn’t encounter on your own. See major landmarks like the Hôtel de Ville, and visit the Marché des Enfants Rouges: Paris’ oldest covered market.

Finally, your experience ends at your original start point, with plenty of time left for you to continue your Paris sightseeing.

Great tour with Margot ! Food, wine an fun!
Martha_C, May 2024
Such an enjoyable tour with Margot. Diverse and filled with information and fun! A full three hours. We started at the market and then toured about four other places, and ate and drank along the way! From savory to sweet Margot knew all the right spots . She was especially delightful and went out of her way to accommodate the group.
Highly recommend!

Fantastic tour through the Marais. Our guide, Garance, was lovely. She took us to several shops for tastings, stopped along the way for explanations of the history, the buildings and the architecture. There was so much food! We had cheeses, wine, chocolates, escargot, sausages, falafel, breads, macarons, etc. Don't eat a big breakfast beforehand and you won't need lunch either! I highly recommend!
Would definitely recommend.

BART was a great guide who knew a lot about the area and the food! Great to talk with, and took us to some really good food places we otherwise would have missed! Prepare to walk and come hungry

Really didn’t know what to expect but was impressed with the tour. Our tour guide Bart was great, but to be honest the best thing was meeting new people and sharing experiences. Highly recommended!

Bart was wonderful and fun! It was a great way to see a neighborhood and area we would not have gone to. The market was amazing. Thanks!

Our tour guides, Amalie and Margot were fantastic. It’s not just a “Wine & Food” tour, but a tour of Marais and it’s history- both old and new. From beginning to end,….amazing!
Every part of the tour...

Every part of the tour ranked high marks. Our tour leader Garance made the entire experience a joy. She shared her knowledge of the area and the food as we walked, talked and ate.

Our tour guide, Garance, was lovely! She was so well informed and made the tour so interesting. You are lucky to have her as a guide.
I hope you get Bart!
Janelle_D, Mar 2024
We opted for the small group food and wine tour. There were four of us. We were joined by one other person, so with Bart, our guide, we were a total of 6. We had a wonderful tasting experience as we walked through the Le Marais section of Paris. Bart was great - full of information about what we were eating and drinking and full of information about Le Marais. If you haven't yet had escargot, you just might if you sign up for this tour. And you should!
Wonderful

We had a wonderful tour with Gag. Good food, good company, and an entertaining tour. It was a great introduction to Paris.
Fun food tour in Paris
Heather_L, Mar 2024
Bart was our tour guide for the day. The meeting point was just a random street address, I wish they would’ve given a marker because ourselves and the others on the tour weren’t sure if it was the correct spot but it ended up working out. Bart was a great guide with a lot of knowledge of the local food scene. We made quite a few stops and got to try a lot of different things. I don’t want to give anything away but it was more than I was expecting based on other reviews. Overall it was a great time with a good group of people and I would recommend this tour.
Love Paris

We had an amazing time on our tour. Sasha was an excellent tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. She went above and beyond to make our tour very pleasant even though it was a rainy day. She helped us make reservations at one of her favorite restaurants. Sasha is a wonderful tour guide .
