    This was a real drag that's all I can say. Not much to see spent a lot of time in the locks while water raised the boat. The crew and guide were awesome and professional. I was confused at the end if excursion was over. I guess you can get of and ride Metro back or ride the boat back. I got off. Maybe just me but was very bored. For reference I'm a retired senior.

Our "Old Paris" cruise is definitely an out of the ordinary cruise as it takes you along the calm waters of the canal, away from the touristic places and through the historic part of Paris. The locks are an important part of the cruise as we cross four double locks and two swing bridges during this 2.5h trip! We are sorry to read your disappointment regarding the itinerary. We would suggest checking the itinerary before booking as we also offer more touristic cruises such as our "best of both world" cruise which takes you from the canal to the Seine. The cruise ended at the bassin de la Villette but our crew always makes a stop a the Villette park in case our visitors want to get off there and enjoy a walk in the park. We would love to welcome you on our canal and Seine cruise next time you're in Paris, we feel it would be better suited to your tastes! Have a good day,

    Great canal tour! It was one of the best things that we did in Paris. We learned a great deal about the canal and the neighborhoods around the canal.

    The trip was ok, but many passengers stand at the front of the boat blocking the views for everyone else during the whole trip. Also there should be some shade in the exterior as in summer it's unbearable in the sun for 2 hours.

    All of it was very good. I did think it could be shorter in time, go a little faster. If you sit at the front you will get water spray from the locks. Commentary man could come to the very front if the boat and just not inside.

    Relaxing few hours with great views of a Paris we didn’t know existed! Mia was an excellent, informative guide speaking easily in both English and French. Great place to sit and enjoy the scenes around you and experience the locks and canals of Paris.

    Although interesting the guide did not make comments and allow people to enjoy the ambience but rather spoke incessantly barely taking a breath. So it was not what was expected, a lot of information provided was also frivolous unrelated information. Trip would have also been best if you could get off half way if you wanted to. A real disappointment unfortunately.

This cruise takes you through four double locks with swirling waters, two swing bridges, all the way to the Parc de la Villette where our boat marks a first stop before finishing the cruise at the Bassin de la Villette for a second and last stop.     Everything really. The apartment was easy access to everything we wanted. The canal tour, Pere lachaise, The Paris skyline walk. Hats off to The staff who were very helpful and guided us through a difficult repair upgrade situation..

    The native French speakers would speak very loudly all around us while the presenter was speaking English. They seemed to have no regard for English speaking tourist.

    Unfortunately we did not make this tour as there was a protest on this day in Paris and they cancelled the busses and the metro was mayhem ....We arrived about 1/2 hr. late and missed the boat.....We were looking foward to this and was very disapointed that we didn't get to go. Hopefully we will get back to Paris and will definitely book again as we have nothing but good things to say about VIATOR Had to cancel three as time would not permit All other tours were perfect With thanks for making our trip so great M.M.

    Going through the tunnel was amazing. Loved the lights and the history behind the tunnel. The Lochs were interesting, however we found the trip boring towards the end. It was interesting to see that part of Paris, but not what we expected in terms of the cruise. It certainly wasn't romantic which was fine. The chairs were most uncomfortable on the bow. The tour guide was great.

    One of the worst trips ever. The route is not touristic at all as well as the boat itself is not clean and the chairs are not comfortable

    First time experiencing the locks on a canal. Lovely to see the sights from the river. Would definitely recommend. The host was very knowledgeable and the commentary interesting.

    This was a relaxing and lovely cruise.Tour Guide himself was a lively and friendly guy who seemed to do just about everything. We hope he is at least a part owner. The locks are interesting and the history of the canals is even more interesting. There were snacks on board. Could have been more, but at least it was something. We enjoyed the walk back home past the interesting park in city of industry.

    The tunnel at the beginning, and the first lock experience were great, but it was just too long. Could have shortened it to an hour and it would have been perfect.

    Bonjour, Oui effectivement la croisuère dure 2h30 et elle est stipulée sur notre site internet. Vous passez 4 écluses et c'est ce passage qui prend un peu de temps.Nous avons des croisières beaucoup plus courte d'1 heure. En espérant vous revoir prochainement chez France Tourisme.
