What To Expect

Choose an entry time when booking, then meet your host 30 minutes ahead of time at the designated meeting spot and make the short walk over to the Eiffel Tower together.

Follow your host onto the elevator and zip up to the second level, where you can get excellent photo ops and panoramic views of Paris from 375 feet (114 meters) above the ground. Listen to a brief orientation, then you're on your own to wander and take in the sights as you please. Views include the Champ de Mars, Sacré Coeur, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Louvre's iconic pyramid-shaped building.

Please note: The summit is not included on this tour unless Summit Option is selected. You are NOT able to purchase a ticket on the second level to head up on your own.

The most memorable experience was...we didn't get to go up the Eiffel tower because we were late. I was hoping they could have put us with another group, and they could have but for extra money! No thanks!

Total ripoff. Paid $221 to go to the top (summit) for two adults. The Summit was closed due to winds and they credited me back only $20. Stay clear of this company.

I was unable to locate the meeting point. When I called the company they told me to contact the “local” sponsor. Although I was in Paris, I was provided with a telephone number to Florida, in the US. Needless to say, I never found the group, I was unable to contact the company and the Viator person offered no assistance.

Expensive 10 minute tour

The views were incredible and worth the wait in line for the lift . Would not recommend the tour guide experience as there are lots of interactive qr codes that can enhance the ability experience.

Zac was great for English speakers. His English is absolutely perfect. He told several great stories/facts but in an entertaining way. Kept the group moving (some tours can drag).

Worst tour service ever!

Worst experience ever! I had booked 3 tickets - myself and my 2 kids. The place that hosted the tour only had 2 tickets and wouldn’t honor the 3 I had purchased. Wouldn’t even let me get an extra ticket so we could all go together. The people at the check in counter were so extremely rude and not helpful at all. I would never recommend that someone use their service.

There’s no disappointment seeing the famous Tour Eiffel for the first time, day and night. Our host is really knowledgeable and also funny at times. It was passing the security check and waiting on the line that’s why I didn’t put 5 stars.

Viator should warn their customers of rules PRIOR to booking!

Horrible! There is. I “skip the line” with this ticket. They would not let my father participate because he has limited mobility. I advised Viator of this when we booked! They even saw this themselves when we met at the Paris Lounge with our vouchers. “Tour Guide” left us! My dad got to the second floor and they made him go down! No tour guide in sight to help! We were completely abandoned! I wanted to give this zero stars but I was required to give at least one!

Dear customer, Only the top is not accessible for people with reduced mobility. The guide ends his visit at the 2nd floor then you have free time on your own. We are sorry for this experience but the tour guide does not stay with the group until the end in order to let you enjoy as long as you want. Again, the second floor is not a problem, you can visit even with limited mobility.
