Overview
Snorkel and swim in the Caribbean Sea and a freshwater cenote on a half-day tour from Cancun. Your guide first takes you to a snorkeling spot in the Caribbean to look for sea turtles and colorful tropical fish. Next, you continue into the rain forest to a nature park with an extensive underground river system. There you can swim in the crystal clear waters of the cenote for a quintessential experience in the Yucatan of Mexico. Includes snacks, guide, transportation, and hotel pickup and drop-off.

What To Expect
When in the Riviera Maya or Cancun, a must is to get out into the warm, clear water and both snorkel with sea turtles, and explore one of the area’s famous cenotes.
Your tour starts with pickup from hotels or meeting points in Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, or Cancun to keep things running smoothly. You’ll travel in a minivan with plenty of room for all the guests.
Snorkel at Akumal Beach and keep your eyes out for sea turtles, rays, and tropical fish hanging out at the coral reef. After this, head out to Parque de Cenotes Yax-Muul, where your guide will show you along a trail where stalagmites and stalactites surround you, and then you can take a dip in the impressive cenote.

We did this tour in December 2023, and it was such a unique and fun experience! I can't remember the name of our tour guide, but she was fantastic! She had lots of energy, and shared lots of knowledge about the cenote and other things as well. The cenote was beautiful and it was very cool to see sea turtles and other fish up close. They also took some pictures during the tour, so that was a really cool souvenir to bring home. Highly recommend this tour!

We saw 4 sea turtles and a sting ray, it was a dream come true. Emanuel, Fernando and Angel were amazing. Emanuel was very knowledgeable and made us feel very safe. My husband had a mask issue and Angel switched masks with him in the middle of the your which helped a lot. I would recommend them to anyone!

We loved seeing the turtles (7 or 8 of them!), schools of fish, and stingrays in the water! The Cenote was a really fun and unique experience as well! And Kelly was a great tour guide! Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! Lastly, very easy and smooth transportation from our hotel (Sunset Princess). Would highly recommend!

Our guide Kelly was very knowledgeable and did a great job! Alan was our photographer and took amazing shots! We were able to see 3 turtles (including a baby) and 2 stingrays as well as tons of fish. It was a lot of fun and would absolutely recommend!

Our guide—Marc—and the photographer—Guillermo—were amazing. High energy, very patient with small kids on our excursion, and great fun/knowledgeable. Both parts of the trip were amazing. We saw 3 green sea turtles, 2 rays, and then the cenote was breathtaking. Well worth the trip; highly recommend!

Our family of Five had such a great time on this trip. Just being on a nice catamaran at C is such a cool experience the crew and guides were excellent and treated us like royalty. The lunch was good and the drinks were awesome. The reef snorkeling was very good saw a lot of fish and even saw a couple turtles, the booking process was super easy and they even accommodated a pick up very close to our Airbnb which made things a lot easier. Highly recommend.

Great experience lots of variety seen at sea turtle sanctuary. Cenote was completely different natural wonder to see and very beautiful. Loved the homemade empanadas in the jungle. Only downside was the forced posed photos and presentation of slides at the end with a lot of pressure to purchase on the spot w cash. Prices were not discussed before that. Guides were friendly, informative and organized.

The pickup time was scheduled for 8:25 am, but delayed to 9 am due to a flat tire. I understand that things happen, but when we got to the site of snorkeling with sea turtles we were rushed through to make up time, which was very disappointing.
The snorkeling itself was fun and our guide was very helpful and skilled. The water was murky and it was not easy to see the turtles, but we enjoyed it. But, the second part of the tour, underground Cenote, was really fun. Again, our tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and nice. Snack was great.
Overall a good time and we are glad we did the tour but there were a couple of hiccups that made our day a little less ideal than expected.
