If I could leave more stars I would. This tour was amazing ! Plenty of time at all locations, they even bring you to a shaman to cleanse your energy and have a ceremony. Our guide was informative, helpful and a lot of fun. 1000% recommended !!!

Tulum & Coba
Kevin_T, Apr 2024
It was ok tour. I like Tulum with pyramid that was close to the beach which was cool. The only I don’t like was the pick up time. It was so unorganized. One email I was told 7 am and a WhatsApp message told me at 7:40 am and the tour coordinator didn’t show up until 8 am. I woke up like 6 am skipping my breakfast and waisted all that time for nothing. 🙄🙄
So much fun

Be prepared to walk a lot! Bring lots of sunblock and some cash! Lots of fun with some amazing views.
Tulum & Coba Ruins & Cenote Swim
Jacqueline_C, Mar 2024
LOVED this tour! Tulum ruins was a little busy but incredible! Coba ruins were also incredible and we basically had the main pyramid to ourselves! It was not busy at all! After both ruins our last stop was a buffet lunch and cenote swim! We all got to choose if we wanted to eat or swim first. The buffet was really good and had options for every dietary need. Our group had gluten free, vegan, and dairy free requirements and there were options for everyone. Personally I chose to have pulled pork tacos which were soooo good! The cenote was beautiful and had a rope, swing and cliff jump from the top of the cenote down into it. We were also the only group there! and there were only 12 of us in the group. Also to note there are bathrooms available at every location. Lastly our tour guide Edmundo was fantastic. He was so organized and clear with every detail of the day everything went smoothly. He was very friendly, professional and he was hilarious. There is an additional cost to pay to tour the ruins which is 20 USD and to rent a lifejacket at the cenote was 50 pesos. So be sure to bring $ ! This is definitely one of my favourite experiences in Mexico and I would recommend this tour to everyone!
Good balance

Good combination of spots! Nice guide! Impressive sites and good food. Me and my 8 year old enjoyed, Cenote swim was very rewarding.
Worth every penny.

Very informative guide. Beautiful places with such history. Good lunch included. Long day but it is well worth it.
Much too rushed!
MICHAEL_M, Feb 2024
Not enough time to see & enjoy all 3 stops. Tour would be much better if one of these stops was eliminated. Felt rushed at Tulum & Coba for sure. Barely get there & you're looking at your watch to make sure you don't miss the Van & get left behind. "Lunch" is at the last stop at Cenote & it was about 4pm when we ate. Minimal time to digest food if you want to swim. Food was average & not hot. Mandatory life vest rental was a turn off & should be included. Wouldn't recommend this tour
No Surprises…..

Reasonable pick up time at meeting point. Lunch was OK. Guide knowledge was good. Cenotes swim was refreshing…..suggest do it before the lunch meal. Kudos to the bus driver for navigating through some tricky road conditions. Appreciated no stops at retail businesses promoting local merch.
Ruins and a cenote!

I enjoyed cooling off in the cenote after touring the ruins. I was surprised that after paying for tour in advance we were all herded to an area where we had to pay tax. 350 mxn.
Worth the $!

Awesome tour guide! We enjoyed his knowledge and sense of humor. Fabulous day at an easy pace (long day though).

Tour guide left me and friends stranded
Ari_N, Jan 2024
We got lost and the tour guide left us stranded. When we reached out to them for a refund they were unresponsive. Be cautious.
Well worth the trip and the price

This is kind of a lot to squeeze into one day, so each component was a little rushed - but the ruins were amazing and the cenote was another unique experience. Edmundo did a great job giving history and context to what we were seeing. In agreement with other reviewers, it is tough (but not impossible) to have time to see a lot at Coba if you walk the 2km to the main temple - one hour is allowed for round trip from the entrance gate, so 4km walking plus sightseeing and photos. Bikes are for rent for $5 or bicy-taxi which carries 2 passengers for $10. At Tulum we had time for Edmundo to lead us and explain things, plus about 20 minutes to explore on our own. The lunch was good and accommodated the vegans in our group. At the "Mayan village" stop where we had lunch and swam in the cenote, the shaman spiritually cleansed us with herbs and prayers, and staff worked hard to get us to buy souvenirs. The pickup was smooth and the van was comfortable. Prepare for a long day and at least 3 hours in the van.
Long day but interesting
AllisonD, Dec 2023
Very good trip incorporating two historic sites. It was a long 13 hour day with lots of walking and a lot of queuing! With traffic it took three hours to get back to our hotel, and queued nearly an hour to get into Tulum. Our tour guide Eduardo was amazing being both informative and funny. I would recommend the trip as long as you appreciate it’s a really long day, didn’t think we needed the Plus option.
The trip starts with everyone standing in line for 45 minutes to pay some kind of fee or tax.
Matthew_G, Dec 2023
The trip was great overall. Our guide was great, and the ruins (Coba and Tulum) were very interesting, although I was extremely disappointed to find out that you can no longer climb to the top of the main pyramid at Coba (an activity that used to be the main attraction there). The cenote and buffet lunch were great, too. But the trip starts with everyone walking to a nearby building and then standing in a very slow-moving line to pay some kind of extra fee or tax - I never understood what it was, and the entire process was disorganized and really irritating. As I said, the trip itself was great, but in the future I would look for a company that doesn't waste an hour of your time at the beginning or charges you more money beyond the price stated on Viator.
Interesting and well worth a trip

A lovely full day visiting the Tulum and Coba ruins, as well as swimming in a cenote. I felt like sufficient time was given to explore each area and particularly liked Coba. Fantastic tour guide who was clearly passionate about the history and made us feel comfortable.
Fun and informative
Misty_R, Nov 2023
Coba was fantastic. I would have liked more time in Coba to explore the site more. The cenote experience was quaint and enjoyable and I spent some extra time with the Shaman. Tulum was so busy, I could take it or leave it. Our guides were fantastic and you could tell he really enjoyed the history and sharing it with others.
Great tour

Great tour! Celene, our tour guide, was wonderful and informative. I would recommend this tour. The only thing is the tour included a lot of driving which was long and tedious.
Our 2nd disorganised sales pitch with tour afterthought!
Edward_H, Feb 2022
The morning pick up, getting your wristbands and getting on your coach is very disorganised and long winded. It took 2 hours before we even left Playa del Carmen. There are lots of sales pitches to try and squeeze as much money as possible from you and the prices are ridiculous for these things, especially at the glass factory and chocolate tour. The glass was cheaper to buy in the shops in town than at the actual factory, Exactly the same with the chocolate tour. Which was all fake plastic props, $14 for 1 bar of chocolate, the exact same bars were at the airport for $5. The buffet food was cold and the drinks expensive. When we got there we found that there were no tables free. Once a table became free the group my partner and I were in were all sat down and we were both forgotten about and had to find our own place to sit elsewhere. What I also found disappointing was the lack of time you get at each place. We had 30mins at Tulum. It wasn't enough time. And it was the same at Coba, we had to rush around and run at parts rather than enjoy it. This was our second tour with them in the space of a few days and we were completely let down and feel that we didn't get what we paid for in either trip. My advise is to avoid them completely.
Tulum and Muyil... a perfect pair
Jennifer_S, Feb 2022
Visiting the Mayan ruins... Coba was closed. However, our tour added Muyil in its place. When we arrived, there were no other tours there, making the experience even more special. Even though Coba, the ruin, was not available for viewing, we had lunch in the town of Coba, bringing much needed tourist money to the community - which, I felt, was much appreciated. The tour guide was excellent. And we were on a small van, not a big bus tour! I highly recommend this tour.
Really great experience!
Emma_A, Aug 2021
Due to covid, there had to be a lot of adjusting of the shuttle service. We ended up driving more than seeing the sites. It felt very disorganized but the tour guide tried to keep us as informed as possible. We loved going to the cenote and the Tulum. Coba was cancelled on us. We were not told of this upon booking. Our concierge had to tell us to ask about the cancellation. We did get a partial refund though but there was poor communication leading up to the tour.
