Poor communication

My friend and I booked a roundtrip from the airport to our resort and then back to the airport at the end of our vacation. The first pickup was very easy. We had no problems. However, leaving the resort was much more complicated. Our contact on WhatsApp was not responsive and told us that our pickup was at 545am. We asked if it could be later given that our flight was not boarding until 830am and we do not have checked luggage and we were already checked into the flight. No response. There was a car there waiting for us at 545am. There was absolutely no one at the airport. We had to wait 15 minutes for them to open security. Needless to say, I wish the coordinator of the ride was more responsive. We wanted to be picked up at 7am and we would have had plenty of time. But they did not acknowledge our request and now here we are sitting at a completely empty airport with no one around…. Waiting for 2 hours+ for our flight to board. I’m not happy.

Long waiting to be picked up from airport

Waited over 40 minutes for a bus driver to pick us up!!! Also, the driver didn't know what hotel we were going, said he has another hotel for us I had to show him my reservations

Great transfer in Dominican Republic

We were not sue when we first arrived as there were shuttle people everywhere. Finally, we found someone and he showed me on the print out Coming 2. Then we were OK. Pick up on the last day was on time. It turned out to be a good transfer. Will continue to use Viator and just recently recommended it online.

Please do not book especially round trip with these people. They do not communicate with you when it’s time for pickup. This is the second time now that they’re doing this. Do not book with this company!!!!

Transport to Airport BEWARE!

Our experience was pretty terrible. We had a group of 4 traveling together and booked round-trip transportation from the airport to our resort. Upon arrival to the airport, we had to wait about 30 minutes between standing at the counter and waiting in the shuttle for other customers. No other customers came, so we went ahead with just the 4 of us. I was given a piece of paper and a phone number and told to text that number on the WhatsApp to schedule our pickup time for our trip back to the airport. THAT'S when it got bad. I texted probably 3-4 times a couple of days before our trip wtih no response. I then visited the front desk of our resort, who called the number for me and let me talk to the guy. He told me to send him a picture of our voucher we were given at the airport and that he would respond with a pickup time. I did, and no response again until the next day finally when I texted that I was getting worried he wasn't responding. He finally got back to me and told us our pickup time. We were VERY uncomfortable with the small amount of wiggle room we were given and were worried we were going to miss our plane with the time he gave us, so we requested something earlier. We had heard from others in our larger company group that the airport lines were crazy and to be there 3 hours early. He responded and told me that the only time he could pick us up was the original time her gave me and that if I wanted any earlier, I'd have to take a taxi. I responded and asked how to get a refund for the trip I'd already paid for with his company. Again, no response. We did end up paying for a taxi and leaving over an hour before the time we were given by Coming2 (Viator) and thank goodness we did! We are fairly certain we wouldn't have made our flight had we waited until the time he gave us. Others who I talked to who had transportation scheduled with other companies said they were able to choose their pickup times and had no issues with getting times early enough to accommodate the times they wanted to be at the airport. AVOID this company at all costs, or at a minimum, DO NOT pay for round-trip...the return service to the airport is TERRIBLE.

Ruined my trip/negligence/racism

I come to Punta Cana at least once a year l, it is one of my favorite places to come to. However, this time around I experienced less than favorable treatment from this particular company. I arrived at the desk of “Comingto” to retrieve my reserved transportation. An older white couple was already being assisted, (yes I must point that out unfortunately) the man who was taking care of them also took my info and had my partner and I waiting. Another couple who I must point out was a younger Caucasian couple as well came up behind us on the line and before we were finished being assisted another gentlemen made sure to grab their info to make sure they got transported before my partner and I. We are then all sent to follow the First Gentlemen Who took our info with the other two couples. I first would like to point out that even though we were ahead of the younger couple. Their bags were escorted to the bus while my partner and I wheeled our own luggage. We arrive to the bus, the other two couples are now escorted into the bus and me and my partner are now waiting in the middle of the street while the man who escorted all 6 of us, proceeded to tell us that we would not be going in that bus. Fast forward 5 minutes later on, after he makes some frustrating phone calls. The exact same bus with the other two couples pulls back up, turns out my partner and I were suppose to be escorted and transported in the bus before the younger couple was but instead they made sure to accommodate them at mine and my partner’s expense. They then proceeded to stuff our luggage and squeeze us in with the them. When we arrive at our resort, my partners luggage was misplaced/switched with one of the other couple’s luggage’s and now my partner is also left with no luggage. This company is racist, unorganized, and careless. Please do not book with them and save yourself the trouble just get a private cab, you will be better off.

Great transportation to my hotel from airport. Since it was a smaller hotel that had recently changed names, he went in first to make sure I was at the right location. The driver also helped get my bags to the lobby for checkin. I will definitely use this service again.
