    Our guide Ivana was very reliable. The tour was planned good! It started on time and ended before schedule but it was fine because the long walks made us all exhausted 😅

    The actual tour was greater than expected, with the added bonus of the Forum and Palatine Hill. What a spectacular collection of things to see. The disappointing aspect was the tour guide’s downplay and personal belief that many Christians were not martyred (with many for sport) in the Colosseum. Many reputable resources claim it as fact, including the Catholic Church. She also downplayed Constantine’s conversion, suggesting it was forced upon him by his mother. Only a little research would beg to differ. The tour guide should provide facts, not personal opinions.

    Would warn that the tour...

    Would warn that the tour ends elsewhere than the the starting point so if you need to circle back be sure to look up how to navigate on your own afterwards! It was raining heavily when our tour finished and we had to get a cab when we missed our street while walking trying to return to the starting point.

    I hope anyone on this tour has the pleasure of having Ivanna as a tour guide. She’s not only knowledgeable and easy to understand, but she answers your questions and more, takes your picture in the best viewing areas and recommends the best restaurant for food at the end when you’re ready to sit for a nice meal! She also recommended certain dishes which are so satisfying and my making the experience e en more enjoyable. We loved her!!!! We’re so lucky to get Ivanna as our guide!! Highly recommend this tour

    Our guide, Selena, brought the Colosseum to life for us! It was a busy, crowded day at the site, but she managed to find quieter corners so that we never felt rushed. Our group had only about a dozen people, so we didn't feel like sheep as we made our way through the sites. She shared so many fascinating details that we would never have picked up on if we had gone on our own. Walking the roads of the Roman Forum was also very interesting as Selena shared little insights from her experience as an archeologist working on the site. Great way to take in sites like these. Would highly recommend.
