It is mandatory to enter your name and surname when booking, otherwise you will not be allowed access to the Colosseum as the ticket is nominative. Your document will be checked upon entry. The free ticket for children under 18 can be collected directly at the Colosseum entrance with an identity document WITHOUT QUEUEING

Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
The multimedia video is available in the following languages: Italian, English, Spanish, French, German, Russian and Polish
The price of the entrance ticket is €19 (€17 + €2 reservation), the remainder is to be understood as additional services which include: check-in agency where we will explain how to reach the entrance and we will provide you with tickets at Inside an envelope with your name; priority entry and multimedia video
Go to the agency to collect your ticket at least 20 minutes before the entry time. In case of delay there is the risk of not being able to enter. If you are unable to collect your tickets for any reason, your reservation cannot be changed or refunded as tickets are non-refundable.
Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
"Priority" access is used to avoid hours of queuing at the ticket offices to purchase tickets. With this ticket you just need to show up at the entrance to the Colosseum, there will be a few minutes of waiting for the document check, but the queue moves very quickly
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 25 travelers

Cancellation Policy

This experience is non-refundable and cannot be changed for any reason. If you cancel or ask for an amendment, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Fantastic self guided tour, plenty of great information as you walk around, we were offered the newly opened attic tour which did not disappoint, barely anyone up there, great views. We took around 2 hours to get around, not to busy & no waiting to get in.

Office closed when needed most

I remember the difficulty we had getting the tickets, and when we needed assistance to get our 17-year-old grandchild into the Colosseum the Viator office was closed for the afternoon. We had to pay extra so she could see the site.

Hello, you never reached the office to collect the tickets and we sent them on whatsapp so it was easier for you. 17 yo are free so you didn't have to pay nothing. The office was open until 16:30 but you never came. Thank you very much for this completely false 1 star review

No skip the lines

We brought skip the line tickets we went to the tour operator and got our ticket we were told just to go to the entrance and there are priority entrance THERE ARE NOT we had to to wait in line with everyone else once we got in there is no maps to guide you round so was walking around aimlessly I was truly disappointed in the colosseum unless you buy the tickets to go in the dungeons there is t really much to see, palatino gardens were lovely to walk around but make sure you have good footwear on as it’s a long walk the Roman forum was great as well plenty to see.

Hello! These are called priority entrance tickets because you can avoid the 2 hours queue at the colosseum counter and you can go directly at the gate where there’ll be 5 minutes of queue just for ID and security check as explained once you reach the agency to collect the tickets. I’m sorry you didn’t like the colosseum, but writing “there isn’t really much to see” inside of one of the seven wonders of the world is a very unusual statement. Anyway, thank you Artour

Other than having a little trouble finding the place to pick up the tickets (a map would be helpful), we had a great experience. It turns out, the office is very close to the Colosseum Metro stop so it’s really convenient. The lines to get in were very long (even in October) so paying to “Skip the Line” was absolutely worth it!

I tried to book official skip the line tickets the day they were released for sale online. All tickets for the 3 days that my itinerary allowed were sold out. I was forced to buy from an agent - at 100% markup. This was disappointing and annoying but I felt I had no choice. The actual mechanics of collecting the tickets and the skip the line entry were fine. Overall I was glad that I bought the tickets as the experience itself was 5 star!!! (I note the Roman Archaeological Society is introducing named tickets to try to prevent the exploitation of tourists)

Hello, I'm sorry but the mechanics are handled by the colosseum, as an agency we have a different website where we can buy the tickets, that' why we have them even if they're sold out.

Tickets Worked, Audio Tour Did Not

The tickets worked fine for Colosseum. We went on a Sunday, early afternoon, in late September and there was hardly a line for those going in as not part of a tour group. In fact, we got into the colosseum quicker than people in tour groups. Unfortunately the app for the guided tour did not work as the app is too outdated for our current phones (Androids that update automatically). The Colosseum sells audio guides for 5.50 euros. According to the booking, Colosseum tickets are 19 euros. I'm not sure if that normally includes palatine hill and roman forum and not sure how much those normally cost if not included.

Went with my grandson who is 17 and was refused entry because he did not have his passport . We booked the full lot including fast pass . We were rejected and wasted our money .

When you book this product It's written EVERYWHERE that you need an ID for kids below 18 years old. And we even remind it when you come to collect the tickets at the agency. Thanks for reviewing us with 1 star when you're not able to read/listen!

Good tour

Self guided tour was good. A bit of a trek to get the voucher. Booked 1230 slot and arrived for the voucher for it to say 1250, so had a 29 mintier wait. This wouldn’t normally bother us. However, we were in a day trip from our cruise holiday. Time was already limited, so we found hanging around frustrating when we had booked a specific time.
