Hidden gem, didn't feel rushed to go through this museum

A fantastic interactive experience with a lot of recreations. Staff is nice and friendly, the explanations on all exhibits were extremely informative and there are plenty of interactive exhibits to see how Leonardos work worked and could spark some historic interest with the kids.

Amazing ingenuity of Leonardo Da Vinci!

They were kind enough to let us come back the next day the 26th after we bought tickets for the 25th. It was closed on Christmas Day but Viator believed them to be open. We just had to show them the PDF of the tickets. It was amazing just to see the ingenuity of Leonardo Da Vinci. He was really ahead of his times. His inventions were extraordinary as well as his art and fascination with human anatomy. Everything looked real. A lot of the reviews stated that the pieces were fake but there is no way to tell what is fake and what is not. People just need to stop being so unkind and more appreciative of history. We paid $20 through Viator and it was well worth the price!

Fascinating & Interactive!

My husband & I had a great time exploring this museum. We visited it after a long chaotic all-day tour & it was pleasant to go at our own pace in a more quieter setting. We were truly fascinated and learned so much about Da Vinci's work. There are several interactive sections which was fun and I would recommend accompanying the museum with the audio.

Excellent museum- Not to be missed

Loved the interactive screen where we could click through and learn about Leonardo,s paintings, drawings and inventions before actually seeing the exhibits. Particularly loved the Vitruvian Man exhibit. The audio guide was excellent and gave lots of extra information. This museum really brought home just how extraordinary Leonardo was and how fortunate we are to have benefitted from his genius.

Disappointing experience

The whole museum is a scam. You won't find any of Da Vinci works. Everything is a replica. Basically you are paying for a cheap experience of nothing. The only existing thing is the gift shop.

Seeing some of DaVinci's machines come to life was easily the highlight. The audio guide wasn't really worth the extra 3 EUD. No bathroom in the entire facility also made it hard to enjoy.

The museum was very informative, but nothing you couldn’t see or read somewhere else. It is worth seeing if you’re in the Popolo square, but not a highlight of Roma. It had quite a few things to touch and try, so might have been better for children:
