We'll wait for you outside the Frascati Railway Station at your scheduled time. It's very easy to reach it from Rome, taking the train from Roma Termini 40 minutes before than the scheduled time. Enjoy your ride! Please note: during the walking tour there are some stairs to do!

What To Expect

Meet your pasta class hosts directly outside the Frascati train station for the scenic walk through the old town to a historic wine cellar, where you’ll relax over a tasting of Frascati Superiore DOCG and Vagnolo wines produced in their family vineyard.

After enjoying a selection of wines paired with local appetizers, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get to work preparing fresh pasta from scratch with the guidance of your chef instructor. Opt to prepare one of three classic Roman pasta dishes: cacio e pepe, carbonara; or amatriciana.

End your lesson with a sit-down dinner featuring the pasta you’ve prepared, served with local wines. After dinner, take a peek at the caves hidden below the wine cellar before the walk back to the train station.

Fantastic evening, highlight of our holiday! Thanks Nico for hosting a brilliant time and making us laugh with your great sense of humour! We made the yummiest pasta, had a great time doing so and enjoyed drinking wine and had a tour of the underground cave. This was the best experience that we had in Italy. We were only in Rome for three days and we found this incredible deal online for wine tasting and pasta, making which were two things we really wanted to do while we were there. This experience gave us the best of both worlds, and the wine was actually incredible, we are very grateful that they can ship out to the states. The pasta was so delicious and it was so fun to make. The entire experience was welcoming and fun, we loved our tour guide, and the tour that she gave really helped us understand the history of not only her family, but of Frascati. We will be recommending this to our friends and family, and when we come back to Italy, we will definitely be visiting for Frascati again!

This class was one of our favorite things we did while in Italy, and the pasta was fantastic. Simone was a wonderful instructor - so warm and funny. The class is small, which makes it feel like a very special evening. The wine was very good, and we ended up getting a bottle to share during dinner. This is a nice opportunity to get out of Rome for a bit and see a beautiful town. I would recommend even coming early to walk around Frascati on your own before the tour begins. Tip: There are a lot of stairs to get to the winery, so if you’re mobility challenged, keep that in mind. That said, Simone was really accommodating of our group and took her time to make sure we didn’t feel rushed.

This was my 2nd time here and I enjoyed it just as much this time w my daughter. They give you a welcoming, genuine environment. I don’t hesitate to recommend it to friends. The little town is adorable and it easy to take the train there.

Giant museum with millions of things and we spent more than 25 minutes of the tour staring at three giant pictures of pictures we were about to see and a flip book. Less time on explaining the three items and more time in museum especially since you cant go back

Best thing we did in the Rome area. Lovely experience that was enjoyed by young adults as well as older. Don't hesitate. The price is fair. The transport from Rome is easy and cheap. The hosts meet you at the train station. You get a short orientation tour of the town, an explanation of the family cellar and town tunnels, the town WW2 experience, and the family wine-making business. Then you make and consume delicious pasta. On the way back to the train stop at the gelateria across from the church for awesome gelato to cap things off. You will not regret doing this.

This was an amazing experience and worth every penny. The train ride was easy and the station in Frascati is small and simple to navigate. This was the only tour that I did in Italy where I felt like I had the opportunity to see the life of the locals. We started with a wine tasting with a charcuterie board. It was wonderful. Then we learned to make the pasta. This was a lot of fun! We learned about the different sauces. Then we did a tour and learned some history and about wine. Next we cooked our pasta and sauce of choice. Last, we enjoyed a well deserved meal together. Wonderful experience that I can't recommend enough!
