Our favorite food tour!

Our tour guide Marina did a great job. She selected an amazing variety of food that included delicious appetizers, world famous Bonci’s pizza, fantastic pasta, wines and much more. It ended with the best tiramisu ever! This tour served more food than other food tours we’ve been on. We highly recommend it!

Celeste was a great tour guide. She was knowledgeable and interesting, and was able to create a really good atmosphere for our group. The food we sampled was excellent-my favourite was the aged balsamic vinegar at 180euros a litre! Many thanks -would definitely recommend!

First of all - our tour guide, Lucy, was amazing. She was incredibly knowledgeable, very friendly, and made sure we were all having a great time every step of the way. The food was delicious and I felt like we got some true taste of Italy. The pace of the stops was also really good considering we were out and eating for four hours. I was full at the end, but not in pain :-) I would highly recommend this tour for anyone. I was on the tour with my 17-year-old son and it was one of his favorite parts of the trip.

We booked this tour as it was close to the Vatican and we had no idea it was going to be the best tour we have ever been on. The tour takes you into a residential area so you can see what the real city looks like. We started with freshly made cannoli and coffee and continued with the best pizza in the world (the toppings were out of this world and the dough was the crunchiest we have ever had), happy hour with Prosecco, meats and cheeses, truffles and balsamic. The highlight was the visit to the local market where we had the most delicious and fresh Buffalo mozzarella, roman meats, natural wines, freshly baked eggplant parmigiana. And that wasn’t all ! We also had the best pasta and natural gelato to finish. The guide was friendly, warm and gave us a ton of useful information. We absolutely loved it and we recommend it 10/10.

This tour was fabulous! We have done many food tours in other cities and this is the best one ever! Giada was wonderful- so knowledgeable and passionate about the food! I couldn’t think of a better way of exploring the Roman lifestyle! This tour has it all. We started with the most delicious cannoli I ever had and a great cappuccino (we’ve learnt so much about the local habits, I now know better what to ask for) We went on to have some amazing pizza made by one of the most famous pizza makers in the world, and that pizza is so good I can see why he got so notorious. Afterwards our lovely guide took us for yet another tasting of Italian specialties and prosecco (lots of it!) she explained everything for us and she made sure we all enjoyed the foods, she was a really great host! Next came the market and that was so much fun, with so many delicious things around there and all the local grandmas buying fresh ingredients for the day, it was incredible! Afterwards we went on for lunch to a locally loved restaurant and had fresh pasta and lots of delicious wine (no wonder they do a siesta after lunch!) and we had a traditional tiramisu for dessert and it was all divine! All the staff, our guide, the waiters, the chef, they all took such great care of us, it made our experience even more special. Thank you all and see you next time!

Highly recommend this tour , our tour guide Celeste was very friendly and gave us great tips about food produced not only in Rome but allover Italy .Make sure you start this tour on an empty stomach as there was so much food and wine to try . Our guide, Celeste, was such a joy to be around and she was incredibly knowledgeable. We heard so many great historical stories of different types of food, learned about the different regions in Italy and got to try so may of the flavors from all over their country. You get such a great variety of tastings including tastings of pizza, pasta, dried meats, cheeses, oils and desserts. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in learning more about the flavors of Italy - no need to be a foodie. Come hungry and ask specifically for Celeste!

This was the first activity we did once landing in Rome, and boy was it a great way to start. Celeste was INCREDIBLE. She not only knew her stuff when it came to food but was personable, well-spoken, fun, and clearly has a passion for food. The food was delicious. We tried some fantastic new things and learned so much about Italian culture and food along the way. She even gave us recommendations for restaurants and tips for spotting legit gelato. 10/10. She deserves a raise.
