  • Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Vatican Museums.

      Loved the tour, guide was weird!

      One person had been added to our reservation months ago and had to pay Rome Tours ticket office the day of. They would not accept a credit card payment only cash. Suspicious! David, Our guide at the Vatican, was the worst tour guide we’ve ever had! He kept criticizing and speaking ill of women, talking about his wife, and how great he was. We had an elderly woman in our group, and he kept rushing all of us! He would not give us a five minute bathroom break during our entire two hour tour.

Yesterday, when you came into our office we had a connection issue, this is why, our staff at the front office gave you the option to pay cash instead of using the POS. The transactions were not proceeding. Instead, you had called them “scammers” and did not trust their intentions which is also another unfortunate instance.       Our entry was not guided, we went in as a group then toured alone. My dissatisfaction was with an entry time change 24 hours before entry. The company did not email me directly but messaged through Viator App and I did not see it. The company seems disorganized at the time of my service but we did get in and saw the amazing Vatican sites

      Skips the line by going in with a group. Only so much line to skip. Much easier than buying tickets at the time of arrival and figuring out where to go in amongst the chaos of tourists.

      This tour was not organized well

      The official Vatican Museum ticket was already sold out and I could make it for this tour, slip line without a guide. It is an only good part. My tour time was 8:30 am and suggested to visit to 20 minutes earlier to redeem my ticket. when I went to the office at 8 am, the office was closed. I checked the entrance of Vatican Museum but I was told to visit that tour company. I visited again at 8:10 am. this time, the office was open, but they couldn’t redeem my ticket at once and wad to waited until 9 am. It was so frustrated.

      Hi! I hope you are doing well. If you bought the tickets for 8:30 and if it's written on the voucher that you were supposed to be at the meeting point 20 minutes before, you are supposed to be at the office at 8:10 which is the time you arrived office after you went to the Vatican Museum entrance. So, I think there is no problem with this. We took the group inside at 8:30 of course it takes time to print the tickets and everything. Hope you enjoyed your visit. All the Best City Rome Tours

      Our guide, Julia was wonderful. She interacted with or group inserting memorable stories. Unfortunately we lost her at the end and couldn’t thank her for making the tour an amazing experience. As we tried to find the group again we went through the museum twice. A lovely experience! Thank you Julia, from Krystan and ALICIA! Lol

      Easy to find and meet up. Guide was good. The Colosseum line was huge; so we thought skipping the line would be key for this as well, but it looked like the line was tiny for the Vatican museums and Chapel when we arrived. Then the museums aren't very impressive (maybe for more serious historians it's better). The Chapel is what it's all about. That is pretty impressive, but it's a small part of the day. Probably don't need the pricey tour, imo.

      The highlights for me was Laocoon and the Raphael rooms. Negatively, it was simply two crowded to enjoy. Additionally, the handling of our skip the line access was changed to later in the day and then we got in 30 minutes later than our appointed line. They were simply unprepared to get us there on time.

      Yulia was an outstanding tour guide who really made the museum come to life. She gave the tour as if we were the only group she had ever taken through the museum. You can tell that it never gets old for her. She spent 25 minutes explaining what to look for in the Sistine Chapel BEFORE we got to that part (because she is not permitted to speak in the Chapel). This was an excellent educational experience and vastly enriched our appreciation of the time when we actually got to the Sistine Chapel. I had already been to the Chapel twice on earlier visits to Rome, but this was most certainly the best. Also, the fact that you skip the line into the Vatican after the museum tour is a huge, time saving, bonus. I had never done this by paying for a tour before. I had always just stood in line 2 hours and did the museum tour by myself with audio guide. I enjoyed it both ways, but Yulia made paying extra for a guide well worth it.
