Guide canceled last minute without a refund

Incredible disappointment. The guide canceled with me directly the day before without going through official processes, leaving me hanging. I requested a refund through Viator and haven’t heard back. Because my time in Venice was so limited, I rebooked the tour for the same slot. So I have essentially paid double for the sane tour. I have emailed and texted Viator to no avail. Very unprofessional behavior on the part of the guide and the company.

It was a lovely history tour. If you are looking to really hear about what happened to Venice especially during the time of the French occupation this is the tour for you! We thought we were going to get more information about current Venice, so it wasn't exactly what we were looking for, but Roberto took us everywhere and explained a ton!

We enjoyed stepping away from the hustle and bustle in San Marco to visit a quieter side of Venice. Marzia was an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable and personable. She gave us the history of how Venice was first estabilshed to what it is today. We absolutely enjoyed it!

This tour was perfect for our family. We already had tickets to view inside of other key attractions but we really wanted to walk the streets and learn more about Venice as well. Our tour guide Genny was amazing. She was so friendly and connected with every person in our family. Her English was great because she spent several years in the US so we could understand her perfectly. She shared so much information with us about Venice. We had so much fun with her! If we visited again, we would spend time with her again! Thanks for making our trip to Venice special Genny!

Fantastic way to see the local side of Venice and know some cool and unique history. Our guide Marzia was amazing!!! Stopping at the right spots and always telling us unique stories. Very well knowledge about Venice as she was born and lives there. Gave us lots of suggestions and tips on what to do after and where to go.

The quiet and more authentic district of Dursoduro was a wonderful respite from the Gucci and Prada storefronts of St. Mark's. Our guide Giada is a former student at the University and is very familiar with the neighborhood. She was friendly and engaging. A great morning together on a tour we enthusiastically recommend.

Our tour with Adair was a perfect way to get immersed in the quieter side of Venice. She was incredibly knowledgeable of the history, architecture, and areas of the city. We even had a moment to savor a quick espresso along the Canale della Guidecca. We would highly recommend this tour with her and enjoy the peaceful canals and alleyways of Dorsoduro.
