    We will end the night walking tour in one of the most scenic spots in Venice, walking distance from all accommodations in Venice. The water bus stop will be easy to find in case you need it to get back to your accommodation. The water bus service is running all night long.

Pickup details

Personalized pick-up is possible only if you book a private group. In case you did not book a shared tour in a small group but a private tour, please let me know if you wish to get picked up at any location in the historical center of Venice. Otherwise, meet your guide at the general meeting point in Campo dei Gesuiti, at Combo in the internal yard, near the well.

Not what we expected

We were extremely excited to go on this tour after reading the other reviews. But it started off a little shaky when the tour guide made the comment that “oh there you are, yeah, Americans are always late”. Actually, we weren’t late we were just standing on the wrong side of the patio because his instructions were weird. The places we went to were literally of no interest. Why go look inside the hospital building, granted you can see the gold gilded walls) why go look at a very small corridor between two buildings. Again not a hidden gem in my mind.. This tour didn’t reveal hidden gems and secret places that only locals would know about. The tour guide was certainly interesting and pleasant. However, we kind of wished we could have ditched halfway through and gone back to the hotel, but waited until we got close enough so we knew where we were so we could go . Maybe the tour company should set the tour agendas.

I am very sorry to hearingthat the tour didn't meet your expectations. We truly appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve. I am sorry you got offended about the remark about your 15 minutes delay. Usually i am a kind guide and i wait for people, making sure they did not get lost. Unfortunately other 5 people, who truly enjoyed the tour even if started later because of your delay, reached the meeting point on time and they were quite angry with you. Reading your comment I believe they were right and we should have started at the scheduled time, giving you the option to reach us on the way. I am sorry also you considered some stops like the hospital not interested, que differently from hundreds of other visitors who left enthusiastic reviews. I fear you did not realise that this 16th century façade is one of the most interesting example of Venetian Reinnasance and probably that was my mistake not underlining it. The gilded ceiling sparking through the night sky of Venice is probably one of the most beautiful experiences that can bring visitors back to the glamorous time of the Republic. Anyway I hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Venice! Have a nice day!
Great walking tour with many places to admire.

This was a perfect way to start our time in Venice. We did see many, many places to go which are away from the crowds. Our guide Valerio was excellent, helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. Just a small suggestion….it would be great to end the tour with a quick beverage at some great local place. Also it would be helpful to know about the mosquitos at night to dress appropriately. I would recommend this tour and any tour hosted by Valerio to others. We had a wonderful experience.

My Mom and I loved the layed back ease of this tour. Seeing Venice at night was spectacular. Our group went into the quieter part of the island and enjoyed being alone with our amazing guide.

Good Venice Orientation

We did this tour the first night of arrival in Venice. I had not slept on the flight so it was a stretch to do this but it was worth it. The way it is described you might not do it on the first night in town, but it ended up being a great orientation. He showed us how to interpret street signs and walked us through areas that I did not see later on. He was entertaining and informative, I thought it was a great introduction.
