What To Expect

The acclaimed Interpreti Veneziani ensemble is known for the passion and skill of its musicians as they faithfully bring to life some of the world’s most beloved baroque compositions. Concerts take place in the Church of San Vidal in central Venice—a beautiful, 17th-century building that is now used exclusively as an intimate concert venue.

Sit back and let the sacred atmosphere and passionate notes of the violin, harpsichord, and cello wash over you. The chamber ensemble performs on the former altar beneath the painting San Vidal on Horseback by Renaissance master Carpaccio. The lofty cathedral ceilings provide pitch-perfect acoustics for beloved Baroque classics like Mozart’s "A Little Night Music" and Vivaldi’s "The Four Seasons."

A lovely experience; enjoyed the awesome talent and passion of the performers. Acoustics were fantastic in the church. However, unless you are tall in the saddle, arrive early and choose your seat wisely to get a good view! We had dinner just across the Accademia Bridge at Agli Alboretti before the show, which was fantastic.

The music was good and the selections engaging. The church was beautiful but HOT. Very weird. Anyway due the weather conditions we left at intermission. The management should look for another venue and modify their uncomfortable directors chairs.

This performance was just thrilling . The venue gave the perfect ambience , and the musicians were top notch . All the pieces they played ( mostly Vivaldi) were passionate and played with emotion . They played from 9-1030 pm including an encore and one very short intermission of perhaps 10 minutes . The venue is an old church so it is hot although they have fans running before the performance starts . It was a highlight of our stay in the lovely Venezia.

Beautiful. Only downside - we didn't know the location until last moment: we had to call the office. And it spoiled the experience. But orchestra was great, Beautiful church and Vivaldi music 🎶

Please DO NOT book this experience, as its super disappointing. I bought the concert for my husband for our universary and I was really ashamed. I booked this concert because it was suppose to take 1,5hour which was the longest concert, but musicians played only 1 hour including 10 minutes of their break which means they played only 50 minutes. We were looking forward to hear 4 stagioni by Vivaldi but they play it every other day which we were not informed and our booking was not that day (of course). The price here is 36€/pp, on the spot its 30€/pp, but the real value is much much less.

The concert is in two parts. 50 minutes is the first part + intermission...maybe you left after the first part….
