Kayak through the historic canals of Venice on this eco-adventure tour. Following your expert kayaking guide, paddle through the canals that are known as the arteries of Venice. Learn about the history and culture of the Italian city through your guides' commentary while getting a unique aquatic perspective. What To Expect

Meet your adventure guides and tour group at the kayak outfitter office in Venice. Get a brief introduction and instruction on basic safety and kayaking techniques, then jump in the boats and take off. This tour is suitable for all levels of experience, guides will be with you every step of the way to ensure your safety and comfort.

This tour gives a unique perspective on Venice: paddling through the canals, the arteries of this city on the water. Since you are exploring under your own muscle power, this eco-tour has a very low environmental impact. Throughout the tour, learn about the history, culture and traditions of Venice through your guides' commentary.

Finish back at the starting point at the end of the tour.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

First of all our guide was excellent! Giorgio was waiting for us when we arrived and the starting location was easy to find. He gave us a quick introduction and asked a little about us before starting. He asked each of us on our past experience with kayaking and was really helpful. We had a private group of 5 and felt he managed to connect with each of us during the tour. This is a unique and interesting way to see Venice. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. Great value for money and the 2 hours fly in. As you're traveling along the guide will tell you some history and interesting facts about Venice. If you're looking for something different while in Venice this tour is a must. This tour is great for all capabilities, I'm a beginner and felt like I'd been doing it for years!

Terrible experience. Would not recommend

Booked a 1hr beginner session as my wife and I had limited kayaking experience. Instructor was completely unhelpful, giving vague instructions and had a general attitude of ‘figure it out yourself’. He even took off far ahead of the group so there was no ‘tour’ to speak of. The whole operation also seemed disorganized with several of the kayaks wet and needing to be sponged dry at the start of the session

Cool experience in Venice

Loki was a really nice guide and guided us with using the kayak. Kayaking through the canals was really fun and calm, though we went through the lagoon which was a bit more rocky, though still fun. I would have liked more “tour” and history throughout it; it felt like we had to ask questions to Loki in order to hear about the city. 1 hour was right amount of time.

Couldn't Find Meeting Location

We left our hotel an hour prior to the meeting time. We had directions, but couldn't find the location. We did not have Wi-Fi, so I couldn't call the people or track with my google maps. We stopped at multiple stores to ask for directions. We kept getting different directions from each place. Nobody heard of this company.

We tried to get in touch with you several times without any success when we realized you were late for your tour. We also offered to reschedule the experience given that you couldn't find the location and exceptionally offered a refund too in case there was any misunderstanding. Additionally, directions to our locations are very clear in our listing. Sorry you had a bad experience, but as you can see we did try our best to help. You are more than welcome to come again the next time you are in Venice, we are sure we'll change your mind.

Great Tour & Experience; So much fun!

We loved this experience! Our tour guide was informative and kept us safe the entire time. We highly recommend this tour if you enjoy kayaking or just want to do something a little different than what is usual. We enjoyed the kayaking tour over the gondola ride we did as it was more engaging, we learned a lot, and it was just an overall fun activity. Definitely consider this activity if you're able to!

good pace, safe and a great way to see Venice from a different perspective. Kayaks were all in good repair, and the group was not to big. It was a great evening. Plenty of double or single kayak's available. The only wet I got was from my own paddle.

This was a really fun way to experience Venice. Most of the tour is in the quieter canals , you only cross a busy channel twice and then the guide is careful to navigate the traffic. The kayak supplied was very stable and actually quite speedy.

Really fun and unique experience. We missed the sunset by 5 minutes but it was due to all of us trying to figure out the canals, boats, and left vs. right 😁 would totally recommend it and would absolutely do it again!

There were five people total on the tour, plus the tour guide. Four of them were traveling together and he focused on them and their preferences quite a bit. It was difficult to hear and there wasn't much of a destination. More time was spent coasting and waiting for the others (2 of whom never kayaked before) to catch up.

This kayak tour through the canals in the evening was the best part of our stay in Venice. It was so peaceful to kayak along the canals at dusk and to see the sunset from the lagoon. Our wonderful tour guide Marco was very knowledgeable and taught us about Venice and its history, especially the Jewish Ghetto since we were kayaking through the area.

It was fun to kayak the canals of Venice at sunset. It was smelly and salty and shallow and unique and beautiful. There is a place to securely store your stuff and change - bring a wet bag or leave anything behind cause you will get splashed in the lagoon. It is less tour/info more kayaking.
