Cancellation due to flight delay

Hi - our flight from Toronto was delayed by 5 hours. We did notify the local tour operator to see if we could cancel or reschedule. The tour operator said we would need to contact Viator. Long story short, we missed the tour. I always use Viator to friends travelling to Europe. My sister and I have 3 events scheduled with Viator. A refund for Murano-Burano would be appreciated as we did contact the tour operator at 9 pm Toronto time as soon as we learned of the Air Canada flight delay due to mechanics issues. Thank you Liz and Kathy

Meeting point way too vague

Dont try to do too much in one day. The tour of the Basilica and Doge Palace was great but overran then we missed the trip as the meeting point was impossible to find :(

Best tour in Italy for the money!

This tour was the greatest value we had in Italy. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Venice for more than a day. We did the 1/2 day tour of Murano and Burano and the amount of time of the tour was just perfect. The glass blowing demonstration on Murano was very interesting and caught the attention of my usually bored 13 year old son. And honestly the boat ride two and from these two islands was one of the highlights of the day. It was so nice to be out on the water staying cool on what was a very very hot day. We loved this tour which just goes to prove you can measure the enjoyment factor on these tours by price alone.

Good tour

Everything related to the boats was chaotic. The meeting place contains a number of piers that the boat will leave from. It would have been nice if there was a dedicated meeting space at one pier even if that was not where the boat was leaving from . As far as I could tell there were three groups of people waiting. some by the address in the square, some at one of the piers and another in the piazza. When it was time to load the boats, the people lined up were at the wrong boat so it was chaotic as everyone ran to get in queue for the boat that would be leaving. Then the boat was full and we all needed to go to another boat. On the return trip to Venice, it appeared that we joined up with another tour so one boat made a stop on the way to Venice. The tour itself was okay. You are focused on the area that you are dropped on at each island. If you explore a little you will find additional glass selections at lower prices and more choices in Burano. Overall the tour was good other than the chaos at the start

Dear Simon, Venice is a difficult city, if you don't have patience you live badly. the good thing is to inform yourself before going to an unknown country. for the prices, our trips cost 30 euros for adults and 15 euros for children, if that's too much for you then I don't know what to tell you.

Very unorganized. No one from Viator at the pier. Mass crowds of people. Your instructions said to check-in. There was no one to check-in with. Not sure if we were getting on the right boat. Your instructions and communication for your activities need improvement.

We had a lovely afternoon ...... set off on time and spent plenty of time on each island. The Murano glass factory was amazing, the man working with the glass was a true professional. On Burano we were able to spend an hour looking around ..... the colourful houses were a favourite. We also found the lady making lace pictures. Very time consuming but a very traditional craft. The only thing I would say was the guide on the boat spoke very little English so we didnt understand all the places we were passing on the journey which was a shame. Otherwise it was a beautiful trip, we arrived back at the Venice pier on time too.

Je ne peux pas donner d'a vis positif où négatif car .nous n'avons pas fait l'excursion ,suite à un incident en chemin qui nous a contraint à aller déposer plainte nous avons manqué le bateaux, d'ailleurs suite à cela j'aimerais être remboursé comme on me l'a promis Cordialement
