Tour was certainly unusual, but not many other positive comments

The tour we had felt like a mix of random buildings in one part of the city. The tour was advertised as English Only, but we had a mixed group of Italians and English. The guide was good with both languages, but it meant that our approximately 100 minute tour contained only around 50 minute of English. I did feel a bit sorry for the Italians in the group, as we would arrive in one location, listen to details about it in English, then the Italian description would often be delivered whilst we were walking to the next location. The tour started with the group being split between languages, with each being shown in turn a 5-minute VR tour of some of the sites in Venice, which was quite informative and a talk on how the city was built/constructed. I felt that the tour could have included some basic history about the city; which on previous tours was typically delivered whilst moving between locations, but that didn’t happen on this tour.

It location was difficult to find so we missed the tour. If going factor in extra time as the tour leaves on time. We got there 6 minutes late. So we walked on our own.

An excellent tour seeing parts of Venice I wouldn't have found myself. Paola was an excellent guide bringing interesting insights and facts with a good historical knowledge. A thoroughly enjoyable tour despite the rain!

This is a good walking tour for those who want to see the backstreets of Venice and learn about the history, lifestyle and culture. Paula was very knowledgeable and well prepared. It was interesting to learn about off-the-beaten path locations in the city and stories behind locations or about historical people from Venice.

It's a worthwhile experience and you really get to see parts of Venice you wouldn't otherwise visit. Only complaint is that it was a bilingual tour and this took away from the pace and rhythm. Wish we had been advised of this when signing up.
