Good views, poor audio

Nice views but the audio was too low. Also, need warning signs about height of boat. I bumped my head while going to bathroom.

False advertising I want my money back now

A massive disappointment. We are seniors. No one helped us on or off of the boat. Steep steps. Only One bar to hold onto on one side. Totally enclosed very very hot. They had the heat turned on full blast on the boat. The cruise was advertised as a night cruise over 60 minutes of the cruise was daylight. I want my money back. All of it. We have booked much with Viator. $ back now.

I’d pass to a different company next time, one that enables families to sit together

Not very happy Reasons: 1. Our family couldn’t even sit together because they allowed people to string out all over the boat. 2. No live guide, just a corny recorded soundtrack. Made it impossible to ask questions and it was impersonal. 3. Not enough time in the small quaint canals too much time in the open water/huge canals.

Amsterdam at Night is Magical

It was an experience to be on the water as we passed through centuries of history. I had done this tour in daylight. But nighttime showed us how people live in houseboats, canal homes, the stunning interior remodels while the history of the buildings contrasted. Definitely worth the trip.

The actual boat is fine, the problem is there's just not very much to see. This leads to long spells where there's no commentary. Most people on the boat looked pretty bored by the end.

The address was given to me was totally wrong and I had to walk almost 20 min under the heavy rain then waited almost an hour for the just to open . The radio was not working for the most time of the trip It wasn’t fun at all

Canal cruise was nice despite the rain. Windows fogged up until the captain opened a front window. My only complaint is the audio when referring to a landmark used the address instead of saying to the left or right of the boat. You miss a lot trying to figure out what side of the boat to look out, especially at night. Daytime trip is probably better.

Don't Waste Your Money

Sat on boat with silly snack bag, cheaper to just bring your own food. The trip itself was a total waste of time, no commentary at all. So very very boring. Was glad when it was over. Then as we were getting off there was a box of portable headphones which no one has because the driver did not mention it. So the motto is, don't book anything in advance, check the boats out when your here and pay on the day. The Blue Boat Company trip for us was just a trip in the dark. Boring boring and even more boring.

The ports for the headphones did not work. Only one of us had intermittent commentary which was pre recorded and not funny or personalised like the other tours.

Wonderful tour by boat, full experience viewing the city from canals. Comfortable seats, good covered boat if weather was rainy. Drawback is that the audio tour is a daylight narrative, for an evening tour the company needs to redo the audio so that we can better understand what we are looking at lit up in the dark - for example, describing the "green building..." or similar when it's too dark to see colors; also the tape was out of sync with the boat ride at times.
