Put We Bike Athens in Google maps. From Thisseio Metro station (180 meters). Coming out the station walk up the cobblestone pedestrian road with the vendors. After 100 meters turn right and again right. After 40 meters we are on the left nr.53.

What To Expect

Your e-bike tour begins from a convenient meeting point in central Athens, where you’ll strap on your helmet and set off with your guide and small group. Cycle up Pnyx and the Hill of the Nymphs to take in sky-high views of the city and learn about its history from your guide along the way.

Continue on past the Acropolis, stopping to admire the Odeon of Herodes Atticus and Acropolis Museum before heading down to the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Take a break to explore the National Garden for a few minutes, then cycle past the central Parliament and Presidential Palace before passing the historic Plaka quarter.

Your final leg takes you past Hadrian’s Arch, the Roman Agora, the Tower of the Winds, and finally the ancient Agora of Athens before ending at the starting point.

Great way to explore a taste of Athens and learn a few of the better (and lesser) known sites. George, our tour guide, was so welcoming, knowledgeable and entertaining! Bikes were great and fun to ride. Safe even for our 11 year old son. Tip - do this tour first, so you learn about the places you want to spend more time on your trip.

🚲 Shout Out to We Bike Athens 🚲 We loved our guide, George, who was relaxed, with his mix of inimitably Greek humor and playful/joyous cynicism. We laughed as we explored the less-known Athenian sites like the house of the founder of the modern Olympic Games, Zappas, to the more well-known 2500-year old first Olympic Stadium, Panathenaic. And what about the changing of the guards at the presidential palace—I knew nothing about it and was so impressed by the choreography, movement and discipline of the soldiers — not to mention their costumes. George was full of fascinating facts about Athens.

This was an amazing excursion for us! George was fantastic. We were on a cruise and took a taxi to his shop. I would definitely recommend. We are 47 and 51 y/o and joy seeing the sites and hearing about them but not necessarily going on the tours, so it was perfect for us.
