Our private walking tour with Spyros was fantastic! Without his guidance, we would have been aimlessly wandering and wasting precious time trying to navigate Athens. We loved this personalized experience, Dimitri was amazing in every way, from the moment we met we clicked, he's knowledge of history, culture, polítics, economy and specially Architecture made our day! Our guide (on Wednesday April 17th 9:00am) was excellent, we walked all over the City and it was very informative. We ran into the strike and despite the mass of people, it didn't stop us from getting to where we needed to go, and we were able to ask questions as to what the strike was about. Our guide was very happy to go above and beyond when answering our questions and taking us to areas we wanted to see.

Tour was true to the name! Saw sides of Athens we would never have seen before. Guide was very knowledgeable. If you have mobility issues however this is not for you and should be mentioned in your description.

Would be trite to say that all the trip was a highlight but pretty much was. A great mixture of snickety Ottoman streets and tiny cafes eateries; culture, history and when asked a bit of modern day politics. The tour and the likeable Maxim are highly recommended.

I would highly recommend this tour. There were 10 ladies and we split into two groups each tour guide was great! We saw things you would definitely miss if you do not do this tour. One of my favorite tours to date! I fell in love with Athens and the Planka area!

It was a fantastic experience and our tour guide Yorgos, was excellent. He was professional, polite, knowledgeable and personable. He was respectful of our family and was very patient with us as we had to stop every few minutes to pet the random cats along our route. I would highly recommend this tour for an introduction to Athens. We saw areas we would have never seen.

A fantastic tour and an excellent tour guide. We had a fantastic tour guide (Ioannis) who was very knowledgeable, friendly and all-around amazing person! He gave us lots of historical and cultural information and was more than happy to answer questions. He also offered recommendations of other things to do/ see and places to eat during the tour. If you get TATIALENA, you won the tour guide lottery! We've done over 10+ tours on our 2 week vacation, and this was one of the best. It's always refreshing to meet a local with a personal, conversational, storytelling style rather than someone who just spits out robotic dates and facts. Tati was polite, knowledgeable, charming, and went over the top to deliver a top notch experience. I would definitely recommend this tour for insight into local life, a bit of history, and some unique Greek culture/customs. 10/10 highly recommended

The best way to spend your first day in Athens! John was a wonderful guide that made the time very enjoyable (despite the fact he agreed with husband on most things 🙄🤣🤣). He was very knowledgeable and a joy to be around. I would definitely be recommending him to be the guide for my clients that I book to come to Greece. We saw some great sites.

The hermit writer’s secluded space was amazing. We felt lucky to see it. Also Ioannis (John) had unique and fascinating explanations for current affairs and culture in Greece. He knew so much about everyday life in Athens. He was also very accommodating regarding what we wanted to see.

Perfect walking tour on my last day in Greece

What a perfect way to spend the morning ahead of my afternoon flight! Our guide Fatouri was terrific. He connected on Whatsapp and offered to meet us at our hotel, was punctual, asked what we preferred to see and then tailored a lovely walk just for us. My companion had a bad ankle and a small dog; Fatouri was more than accommodating of both. We saw the historical sites, but went through lovely neighborhoods where locals shop and get coffee and pastry. We got a history of the city and its people, religion and food. We saw the amazing Varvakios food market, Hadrian's library and Monastiraki square. Highlight was the most delicious baklava and coffee before returning us to our hotel.
