My boyfriend and I highly recommend this cooking class! We really wanted to experience a traditional paella class, and this was by far the best! He was very interactive, and let us try new techniques while guiding you through them. We met awesome new people, and left with a decadent new recipe. If you are interested in learning to make paella or simply a new experience I highly recommend this is your first choice!

Wonderful experience cooking paella & other traditional Spanish cuisine! We made tapas starters (a prepared garlic & tomato bread, romesco sauce, & lovely veggies), paella, & a crème brûlée type dessert, all delicious & with the freshest ingredients. The olive oil flowed as freely as the wine & we learned so much about Spanish food prep & local delicacies & food traditions. Our instructor, Carlos, was amazing…professional, personable, happy to answer questions, & very knowledgeable. With so much food prep going on, had a very calm demeanor & ‘no problem’ attitude. He is perfect for this job! We will always remember this amazing Spanish experience!

Excellent cooking class tour

Once we found Cook and Taste after getting lost (our fault and not the directions given), we really enjoyed learning how to make tapas and paella. Tabitha(?) was excellent getting everyone to participate. The food and wines were delicious. We would definitely do this again and I’ll be letting my friends at home know about this great experience.

Fun evening! Carlos the chef was terrific. He was patient and knowledgeable. We learned a ton while cooking 2 tapas, paella, and dessert. We went with our 23yo and 16yo and all had a great time. Definitely recommend!

The best Paella, way better than the ones we eat in few restaurants around Barcelona, Carlos was the best, very thorough and patient, considering that we’re a bid group , this is a must try activity, worth the money and you get to keep the recipes too, plus the unlimited wine, oh my… totally worth it.

This was fun! Pauline, our chef was excellent! We learned how to cook 4 types of dishes - roasted veggies with Romesco sauce, traditional tortilla, sea food paella and crema Catalan - plus made pan de tomate. Wine was included in our meal. Pauline explained the history and the variations. I was stuffed to the max. Great location! It's in the Gothic area so come early or hang around the area after class. Mark off two things to do while in Barcelona. If you're into cooking/food, DO sign up for this class!

A curated menu that fit together nicely and gave everyone who wanted something to do. A knowledgeable and supportive chef, Mariona. Very tasty end result. It's a larger group activity in my book (14 people), so everyone can't do everything, but the excellent facilitation makes up for that. As long as you go in expecting communication with the chef and also socializing with the group, you'll probably have a great time. 😊

What a fantastic night. There were 14 people, a mixture of solo travellers, family group and groups of friends - age range from 18 to 60+. Carlos our chef was a great teacher and made sure that everyone got involved. Was a great social night as well as learning new skills, and between us we cooked an amazing 3 course meal under Carlos’s patient leadership. Would highly recommend!

This was a wonderful cooking class! Well organized, well explained with lots of opportunity to participate, and an excellent teacher. At the end we ate what we made and it was absolutely delicious. I'm a vegetarian, and there was no problem accommodating me - it was also the most delicious veggie paella I've ever had. Absolutely recommend!
