Our tour guide Manu was beyond outstanding! When someone loves what they do, it shows! He explained everything, took us on a walking tour through Gothic area and off to Sagrada Familia amazing! We had a great time on this tour. Manu was very knowledgeable and offered so much extras that we wouldn’t have had the experience had we not have booked a tour. It was well organized, great communication, and a lot of fun! Manu took the extra time to take us to a local eatery at end of tour for drink and tapas! We highly recommend! You will get an extra bonus if you are lucky enough to get Manu as your tour guide.

David was our tour guide & he was wonderful. Very knowledgeable & even gave some great suggestions for things to do. This is a good tour to take at the beginning of your trip. You can get a glimpse of areas around town. We had been here a few days & had already seen most of the stops on our own except Montjuïc & the Roman ruins. Know going in you’ll have to have cash on you to pay for your ticket into the cathedral. We highly recommend.

Seeing the best of Barcelona in one day.

The day started raining, and a bit chilly. Larry, my spouse had made these plans as part of celebration of our 50th anniversary. We were picked up in front of our hotel by Liana, her cheerful disposition made our day brighter despite the rain. We visited the Vari Gothic area, along with 3 others on the tour, which made it even more interesting. Plaça Reial castle, and Cathedral Varcelona and all the history of what happened in the Kings square was a fascinating part of history. LeAnn kept us moving and was on top of how to get through the rain in good time. The highlight was the Sagrada Famila. It was not just amazing, but historically the best Cathedral I have ever seen.

Time of year: January | It was a little windy in the morning but was very nice and sunny in the afternoon! Tour Guide: Adrian knew multiple languages, had great information about Barcelona, and made the tour fun! I have done several Viator tours and this one was absolutely the best and much of that was due to engaging guide Giovanni. Walking tour was fabulous and was able to see primary Barcelona sites and of course the Familia Sagrada cathedral which was beautiful. Giovanni took care of people to make sure we were not victims of pick pocketers while focused on experience. Great guy!!!!

The guide was very knowledgeable. Engaging . I give it 3 stars because Viator did not sell what was written. If you sell an English tour keep it English. When you translate in two languages the information is lost and it takes longer . The other two ladies were Spanish speaking. I paid good money for the tour and I feel that the I was short changed badly. This is a walking tour so I still did not see the general layout of Barcelona . Very disappointing. The Sagrada familia was self guided . I could have done without Viator. I have used Viator in many countries. This was definitely under delivered by the company.

The highlight of the tour, for me, was the Sagrada Familia Basilica. I would encourage the tour company to communicate in advance that participants should go online and download the audio tour app. We did not learn about the availability of the audio tour until we were onsite, and that was much too late. That was a big miss IMO. The rest of the tour was interesting, and David was quite knowledgeable. He interacted well with participants.

This tour with Adrian was great. He was very personable and considerate of the people on the tour especially those older and with mobility issues. The description of the tour was exactly accurate and the hotel pickup was very appreciated. While he could not go in with us to the Sagrada Familia he did help us get the app working with the audio guide. That church is absolutely remarkable and we really enjoyed it.
