We enjoyed our tour with Jorge. He was very knowledgeable and knew the best photo spots and angles. I liked how he moved us quickly past crowds and advocated for us for best views of exhibits etc. He hit the highlights of each location. A very memorable experience.

Excellent, Knowledgeable, Funny

Jorge is really wonderful and knowledgeable. He is funny and considerate. He took us to both houses and clarified many things we wouldn’t have even noticed. Both houses were amazing to see and take pictures in. He didn’t mind stopping to take pictures for us. He also speaks English very well and brought audio receivers and headphones so we can hear him even clearer. My family and I really enjoyed it and the fact that it was a private tour at our own pace and we got to see it all with skipping the long lines.

Gaudi in Contrasts

The contrast in styles between these two house was very interesting. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kept up a running dialogue on Gaudi and many other topics on Barcelona history. He made considerable efforts to cater to my limited walking disability routing us to restricted elevators. Which brings me to my major complaint. The excursion states “Pick Up” location at my hotel This to me signifies some form of transport from the hotel to the venue. NOT just the guide showing up and expecting us to walk ~14 blocks in the heat before we even start the tour. This caused me considerable pain and reduced what could have been a 6 star tour to a 2/3 star. Be more specific in your description and use of the terms Pick Up and Drop Off.

Efficient and Memorable Private Tour

A private tour is a very efficient way to sightsee when time is limited. Of course, an excellent guide is the key to a good experience, and the two of us were very fortunate to have Raoul as our guide Tuesday morning. His English was excellent and colloquial. His familiarity with the sites and the neighborhood ensured a worthwhile experience for us. Had we gone on our own, we would have been very discouraged by the crowds and left after a selfie outside. Had we rented audio guides, we would have been distracted by the crowds inside, and lost in the maze of rooms and stairs. Raoul focused our attention on the unique features of these Gaudi structures, added anecdotes and historical background, and truly offered a memorable and interesting tour. He was a wonderful guide. We felt we were honored guests in his city! The installation by the Japanese artist was very creative; don’t miss the visual experience.

First of all, this review doesn't make any sense. You had priority access in both buildings, on this tour you avoided all lines. You were able to visit all the museum levels and even you told me that you loved the tour. It is not my fault that Barcelona is one of the most visited cities in Europe, in any museum in my city you will find crowds. That is out of my control. You chose the starting time of the tour, at any time you will find many visitors inside Casa Batlló. Jorge

Warhead was an amazingly knowledgeable and also attentive guide. His knowledge base was extensive, and he was both personable and attentive to the health needs of my wife and her needing to go slowly. He was happy to accommodate that, and never lost sight of her needs as well as managing to get us through, both of the Gaudi houses. Jorge was a really really nice man with a good frame of reference to the Gaudi history. He also genuinely liked what he was doing, and that was apparent in both his presentation and his demeanor. I would certainly recommend Jorge as a guide on the private Gaudi tour. And I would give him highest marks for his skill and professionalism.

This guided tour was very helpful and we could get through both of the houses in 2.5 hours. Our guide Jorge was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun! I He helped us to understand and appreciate every intricate detail in both of the casas. Regular lines were long and we could skip them with this tour. I think it’s a bit pricey, but overall a great tour.

Great tour with lots to see and learn! First, I'd like to thank Jorge, my guide, for making things in this tour so enjoyable! It turned out that I was the only tourist signed up, but he gave me the tour anyway. Both houses are remarkable. Each one has its own history and "personality." I don't think you can pick and choose which one is better, so I definitely recommend visiting both. Also, given that fact that the covid restrictions were still very much in place during the summer of 2021, I was able to find both houses kind of empty, so the tour was even more enjoyable that way! I'd strongly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn more about Gaudi's architecture--and personal life as well!
