She gave history and an overview of Bologna which was very informative. She had everything organized for when we arrived. She certainly knows how to make pasta. She was very friendly and hospitable. It was a truly memorable experience, we had a wonderful day. Grazia welcomed us into her lovely home and took us through the history of food in Bologna and her experiences, while we made the pasta. The final product was delicious.

We absolutely loved our time with Grazia’s house, the passion she has for cooking really shines through, she is really warm, welcoming and patient who has a really love for cooking, luckily for us she enjoys sharing this passion, myself & my partner had an Amazing time learning more about the ingredients, the history of Bologna and the dishes we made, time flew because we had so much fun! It was my first time making pasta from the basic ingredients of Flour, egg & water and wow it was so enjoyable seeing what we made at the end. Grazia prepares the ragu before arriving so you can concentrate on the pasta making, this was so fun we would definitely recommend people choosing Mamma Grazia’s home cooking class Just a bonus for us as well, she had the cutest dog who is very cute and good around visitors, and Grazia made us a beautiful dessert to top things off! She is a natural teacher with incredible skill. A kind and gentle lady who makes you feel very comfortable in her home. Her bolognese was cooked to perfection. Probably our favorite meal while in Bologna. We are confident we could make pasta now!

This experience was everything you could ask for and more! Grazia was so welcoming and made us feel right at ease when learning such new skills. I was even with my boyfriend, who does not cook at all, & Grazia was so helpful & kind while he learned! He could cook pasta at home now and I would trust him. This was such a great time but we were promised recipes emailed to us after the event and I’ve reached out several times to both Viator and the host but have never received any replies which is disappointing as we very much looked forward to making these dishes at home …

The cooking lesson (pasta making) is done by Ms. Grazia in her home. The love and passion she has for making pasta, and the most wonderful Ragu sauce, makes this an extraordinarily enjoyable and memorable experience! My wife and I were visiting my brother who lives in Bologna, and found Ms. Grazia's cooking lesson on Viator/Tripadvisor. I'm a bit of a home cook, but I never thought I'd ever attempt pasta making. Now, I will not hesitate to make my own, thanks to Ms. Grazia! She is a rare treasure, and I felt privileged to have been a guest in her home and taught by her. The Ragu sauce she made to go with the pasta we all made is extraordinary, and she emailed the recipe to us about a week later. Thank you Ms. Grazia!
