Once you disembark your cruise ship, leave the international cruise port of Costa Maya, to the parking lot and walk 2 blocks to the Mayan pyramid is. It can be a bit difficult to find your way out of the port, this is because it is a private company and they want you to stay inside.

Interesting Experience

Giordana helped us with drinks and guacamole and chips. She also served Ceviche, but that was the extent of the food offered. I would say don't go there expecting a clean beach after a full moon, as it was about 4 to 10 feet deep with seaweed from the rough water. I enjoyed my snorkeling, and can imagine how beautiful it would have been if the sea had not been so rough that day.

I will do this again.

Very private beach location. The food and drink was excellent. Our hostess (Gia) did a wonderful job as ccok, bartender and everything we needed. The water was perfect and we snorked in pure blue water.

Paradise

The definition of paradise. I almost don’t want to write a review because I don’t want anyone to know about this place and it become another major tourist attraction. :D The staff was extremely accommodating and on top of everything. They made our time there so enjoyable! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would!

There were only 20 tourists including us on this immaculate beach. We picked up shells and pieces of coral and enjoyed the gentle waves. Plenty of seating and places to lay out in the sun. The food and drinks were great and service was attentive. I didn't want to leave!

Such an amazing excursion, one of my best yet! Would definitely revisit this place. I can’t pronounce the girls name, but she was so sweet so attentive. The food was just top of the line delicious.. so peaceful there and they gave us our space and that is what we wanted! Can’t wait to go back again! The girl really deserves a good pay. We even tipped her big hope she still there when we go back.!

Best Beach Ever

Visited on March 28th, we were sailing with the Norweign Prima. Could not have been happier! I felt like Kenny Chesney was going to walk up on the beach at any minute. Total privacy. Not another establishment in sight. The host was so accommadating, good drinks, good food. They even made special lunch items for the children. Beautiful water and beach. We will be back. Fun day on private beach

We were met at the Mayan Ruin outside the port and driven to the beach. Unlimited drinks and food was given to us. The beach is small but we were able to snorkel and kayak. It was a great day for the price. The food and drinks were excellent

We booked this as an excursion during our family cruise. It more than exceeded our expectations. We had a short walk for my he cruise port to the pick up location & there were people all along the road to direct us where we needed to go. We were picked up and driven to the beach & asked what time we wanted to be picked up for our return ride. The driver was there right on time & got us back in more than enough time to shop and board the ship. The beach was absolutely beautiful!! There weren’t very many people so it was very peaceful! The ladies were very nice and made sure we always had food/drinks whatever we needed to have an enjoyable time! I would definitely recommend booking this excursion if you are looking for something away from the crowds and more quiet during your trip

Day in paradise

This was the best way to spend our time at the beach. the food was amazing! Fresh and flavorful loved every moment. The location is a little far from the port but once there, you realize you have entered paradise. The host and waitress was super nice and accommodating and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. The bathroom was clean and they have a place to wash off after the beach day. Tip: take swim shoes there is a lot of shells on the floor of the ocean.Amazing day will definitely do again.

Omg was our last excursion and it was wonderful. So relaxing ! We arrived at the beach and were greeted by the two sisters running the restaurant. They fixed us fresh shrimp ceviche and guacamole right away. We sat at a long table under a beautiful shaded tree and enjoyed the view. Beach was beautiful. Kids took the kayaks out and some snorkeled We had two different tacos and unlimited drinks. All included. The sisters were so sweet and kind and ready to serve. What a beautiful day to end our cruise

Loved this place! It was a 35 min ride from the port, friendly taxi drivers. Once we got to the private beach, the waiter was so nice, showed us everything and what was included. She was attentive on what we wanted (drinks and food). We had beer, margaritas, piña colada, Palomas. Also guacamole, ceviche and multiple tacos. The beach was so nice, crystal clear water, so peaceful. I definitely recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time at this private beach. The staff were all very attentive and focused on making our visit enjoyable. In addition to my spouse and I there were approximately 18 others on the day of our visit. Overall a great value and highly recommended.

This was our favorite excursion! We had the most relaxing day at this secluded beach resort. We were there on a cruise and this was away from the crowds and was just beautiful. The drinks, appetizers and lunch were fantastic and the girls working there and bartender were so attentive and wonderful. It was also great to have use of snorkel equipment and kayaks. If we find our way back to Costa Maya, we will definitely be back!!

We had a beautiful time! The staff was very friendly and attentive the entire time, from the meeting point to the van ride there. And then were greeted at the beautiful beach. It has peaceful relaxing vibes. The water felt great to swim in and was clear and refreshing. There were comfortable chairs and tables, friendly dogs. Excellent food and drinks!!

Terrible private beach experience

At port, it was very difficult to find our prepaid transportation. Especially speaking only a little Spanish. The drive was 35 min each way out to the middle of nowhere. The beach does not look like the picture. There was rocks and sticks and debris all along the shore making it difficult to navigate to get in the water. The shore was very rocky. The food and drinks are advertised as included. The tables were not clean. The woman serving drinks and food basically said that none of the meat listed on the menu was “available”. You could basically get nachos, guacamole, cheese, beans, red sauce. The guacamole was basic plain crushed avacado. Would have expected better guacamole in Mexico. The drinks were low shelf liquor and watered down. She took our order and when I asked 45 min later where our food was, she said she forgot to put our order in. It wasn’t busy. Only two other small tables. I wouldn’t recommend this excursion. You may want to consider a few minute ride to the beach right near the port.
