Highlight of our Italy trip

Our trip with Nunzio couldn’t have been better. He had fantastic information about the region and made sure we were comfortable and safe the entire time. He had the perfect blend of being a guide and showing us the good spots while also giving us plenty of time to explore on our own. He took care of all logistics and we didn’t need to worry about a thing. He booked us a lunch reservation at a wonderful restaurant with the best table on a private balcony overlooking the water and made sure we were well taken care of there. This was one of our highlights of our trip and we couldn’t recommend him and this tour more!

Beautiful Cinque Terre

This was an amazing day! To start, Luca is such a knowledgeable guide with a passion for showing and educating visitors about Italy. Traveling to Cinque Terre from Florence is a long day but it was so enjoyable. We had a lovely ride there, learning about the region, and once there, we had plenty of time to walk around, take the ferry, the train and eat lunch. We were able to visit 3 of the 5 towns and didn’t feel rushed or hurried at all. It is an absolutely beautiful part of Italy, and we were thrilled to experience it. I would 100% recommend this or any tour with Luca and Let’s Andiamo!

Luca was an amazing guide and driver. If you want to experience Cinque Terre without having to worry about navigating the trains and busses and being on your own schedule, this is the way to go. Luca was a wonderful guide and got us to all the key places in the villages. He booked a reservation for lunch for us, which was wonderful. I highly recommend!

Between the beautiful villages and our amazing guide, the tour to Cinque Terre was amazing! Luca was professional, punctual, knowledgeable, extremely friendly and even showed us a beautiful sweeping view of Manarola and Corniglia that is off the beaten path. The villages are quaint and idlyic, and an excellent day trip choice from Florence. I can't recommend Let's Andiamo Tuscany Private Tours enough!! 11 out of 10!! I will be booking with them again the next time we're in Florence.

We really enjoyed taking a day away from the hustle of the city. Sandro was wonderful. So friendly and informative! We had a beautiful day. A must see but would recommend off season. It is small and quaint. I could see at busy times it may not be as enjoyable.

Our Cinque Terre experience was EPIC! Our tour guide was fantastic, very educational and fun. The tour will always be remembered for the what seems to be 'photoshopped' beauty, uniqueness, shopping experiences and the people we met along the way. The beauty of the villages, clarity of the water, and excellent restaurants. Luca Martinelli was a fabulous guide extremely knowledgeable, engaging, accommodating (bathroom/stretch breaks during 2.5 hr drive), great English, and just fun to hang with all day. Great transportation via Mercedes Benz van.We highly recommend asking for Luca to take you on this all day journey through Tuscany to such a charming part of Italy.

What a wonderful day! Long but well worth it. We learned so much about this area of Italy, as our guide Luca was very knowledgeable. Time flies when you’re having fun and I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Luca made sure the tour was about what we wanted, not a pre planned routine. Such a great trip and I would highly recommend it to anyone! Definitely add Pisa, it doesn’t add much time.

Good, But...

First off, Luca was awesome. Funny, knowledgable, and super nice. Can't say enough good things about him. He was really helpful with getting us onto the ferry to move from each village and had lots of interesting things to explain about Pisa (we asked for that add-on after Cinque Terre). And Pisa was really interesting so highly advise doing that as well. However, and this is NOT Luca's or the company's fault, Cinque Terre was...meh? It was absolutely jam packed with tourists so maybe that was part of the problem, but each village was just not very interesting. The same tacky tourist shops everywhere which really took away from any beauty the area had. The water looked beautiful, and Monterosso looked like it had a lovely beach, but that was it. Nothing in the "town" worth mentioning and again, just a million people which made us feel like this wasn't that special or "quaint". Probably our fault for thinking otherwise, but we thought there would be "less" in each place, maybe a little more rustic. To restate, this is nothing against the tour or operator; just something to be aware of if you go, especially at the high season. It's probably a lot more interesting and scenic in September. In hindsight, we'd have rather spent that time going to Pisa and having time to tour the old cemetery and cathedral there.

Nunzio our tour guide was amazing! He was so friendly and knowledgeable, we felt like we spent the day with a family member. We enjoyed all of the local history and the informative facts about the different villages on the way to Cinque Terre. Nunzio made a recommendation and a reservation for us to eat lunch at a local restaurant. It was the most amazing restaurant! We were perched high above the seaside and the view was breathtaking. We will remember it forever. On the way back to our hotel we concluded our tour with a visit to Pisa. This tour was a day full of memories that we will never forget. You must take this tour it is perfect!
