What To Expect

Your morning starts with a front-door pickup outside your hotel or residence in either Florence or Siena. Settle back in a luxurious Mercedes minivan. Leaving the driving in the hands of private guide and chauffeur, you’ll be able to relax and enjoy views of olive groves, cypress trees, and rolling hills dotted with ancient villages.

Along with your guide, you’ll visit three historic wine estates in Montalcino, a region renowned for its Brunello di Montalcino. Meet families who have produced local varietals for generations as you tour cellars and vineyards.

This was one of the highlights of our honeymoon in Italy! So glad we decided to do it. Paola was extremely kind and informative. She taught us so much about the area and wine on the way to the wineries. The wineries themselves were top notch - the wine and food at each were fantastic. They were all small wineries as well which allowed for more personalized service and an experience unlike what we may have gotten from a larger, more commercial winery. The day was extremely well organized as well. Loved every minute!

Wonderful personalized private tour

My daughter and I loved our visit to two small wineries and one large one. We had lunch with an Italian family in a farm house, which was lovely! We highly recommend this tour!!

Anna was so knowledgeable and personable! Our group enjoyed the time spent with her. The vineyards we visited were stunning with very kind people to teach us about their wines. I hope to tour with Anna again on my next trip to Italy.

Early pick up from our hotel in Florence. Lively conversation on the way, with a history and wine lesson of the region. Three fantastic private wineries with excellent wines. A marvelous lunch with our host Aldo. Could not have been a better day. Our driver, translator, wine sommelier, history teacher and great guide Anna was a joy to spend the day with. My wife and I would highly recommend getting out into the Tuscan countryside with someone who truly knows the area and appreciates all the wines in the region. This was an amazing tour! Anna was an absolutely wonderful tour guide. She spoke great English and was extremely kind and entertaining. Her knowledge of wine and the region was second to none. We went to three different wineries and were given excellent tours that culminated in the best part...the wine tasting. Each winery was an excellent representation of the wonderful Brunello wine but each had its own unique characteristics. At the last winery we visited, we were presented with an incredible meal. The wait was worth it. The meal alone was worth the trip, but combining it with a wonderful Brunello, gracious hosts, a nice view, my beautiful wife and our amazing guide Anna, made it a very special memory that I will never forget. Thank you, Anna!

Fantastic tour of several wineries filled with interesting characters and great food/wine. This tour is more off the beaten path and well worth it. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and accomidating. We needed to start in one place and finish in another which was no problem. Just a fantastic day.
