What To Expect

You and your party will meet your private guide in front of the Museum Palazzo Pitti, Piazza Pitti. From there, you'll embark on your private walking tour of the palace, originally the residence of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany.

The palace houses a collection of museums, including the Palatine Gallery, a modern art gallery and the royal apartments. This personalized tour takes you through all of those attractions, in addition to the Winter Quarter and Quartier Prince of Naples, which are not normally open to visitors.

Our guide Martina was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and really tied together the art, the history behind it, and the influence of the artist & families that commissioned the piece.

Bad tour operator, stole tickets we paid for

Guide stole tickets so we could access additional garden. Insisted on taking paper tickets which we needed to access an addition garden. Said it was “needed for reimbursement with boss”. Tour operator provided aggravating responses and cost extra hour of time and additional ticket. Visiting the gardens but DONT USE this shady and dishonest tour operator.

Dear Mr John, we are very sorry about your frustration, but actually things are exactly how we told you in our email. You left the tour because you were not well and this is not nice, but it does not depend on us. Your wife and your daughter were very happy to continue the tour with guide Cristina, who reported they were absolutely amazed. You bought Pitti Palace and Boboli garden tour and you had Pitti Palace and Boboli garden tour. The access to each monument is allowed ONCE and not more than ONCE and this depends on State Museums rule, nor on us. Guide Cristina tried to ask the guardian for an exception and the guardian could not do any exception, so your wife and daughter could not enter the garden a second time with the same tickets. As far as for tickets is concerned, our tour guide did nor STEAL the tickets, she kept the tickets for the operator's administation. You bought a package including tour guide and entrance tickets and you already got your receipt by Viator. In order to update our administration files we need the tour guide's invoice and the tickets, that are the valid title for our costs in administration, this is the reason why we cannot give the tickets to clients. You paid a tour and you got a tour with Viator's receipt. That's all. All in all the tickets were not valid for the above mentioned reason. Sorry Sir, this review is really offensive for us and our hard work that makes thousends of visitors happy. You tried to get a refund with the threat of this bad review, but we do not bend under your threat, as we know our job very well and we know our value. Sorry again for your frustration, this time your game did not work. Susanna

The Guide Alfonso was Great! It did the experience really enjoyable. There are Manu pictures in the pitti Palace and ve did. a great Job in the Storytelling to maje the tour fun. I really recommend it

A very enjoyable private tour, it is just you and a guide, who was friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable. This meant that even though there was a lot to see I feel we saw and made the absolute most of our time there. Also once the tour is complete, you still have access to the palace and the gardens. Only improvement to be made would be a short refreshment break between the palace and the gardens

Our guide picked out the best paintings for us to see in the Pitti palace since we had limited time there. We had difficulty finding the guide because we were a few minutes early. She was not at the first place we loved nor the second place we loved and we were about to give up when we walked by the first place we were supposed to meet and she was there finally.

Palace is amazing; gardens are poorly maintained and not very impressive -- I would skip them. Our guide was very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable, but her accent made it very very difficult to understand her.

Alessandro is probably one of the most knowledgeable guides we’ve had (we travel a lot). He could answer any questions - no matter how obscure, not only of history, but art, Florence and travel in Tuscany. His pace was perfect for us, with detailed explanations of all that we were seeing. He integrated all information from Pitti Palace with all other sites around town. He allowed ample time for questions and made sure we could remain in the museum after our visit was done, while giving suggestions of what to explore afterwards. We highly recommend him and the tour!!!

Eleonora was fantastic. Best guide in my whole trip. She was incredibly knowledgeable about art, art history, history in general she made the 3 hours fly by. The garden itself is not very beautiful. Although it is a very good spot to get photos with the Duomo and Giotto's bell tower in the background, along with the Baptistry. I would have liked to have spent more time with the paintings inside the palace. Our guide, Elenora, was very knowledgeable with the history.

For our first trip to Florence, we chose a private, early morning, guided tour of the Baboli Gardens and the Pitti Palace. This was a highlight of our trip! Our guide was so pleasant and knowledgeable! Florence was so crowded, but with the early access, we enjoyed the gardens and the palace with no crowd at all. Definitely worth the money!

La guia excelente, muy amable y conocía muy bien el jardín y el palacio. Mi rica recomendación es que si va en época de verano, que es muy, muy caliente, lleve agua suficiente ya que los jardines son grandes y el paseo largo. En la cafetería, el personal muy grosero y poco amable.
