A wonderfully efficient way to see Cinque Terre and Pisa. Our guide Antonio was amazingly knowledgeable and knew everything about the region. He was on-time and very polite and professional along the way. We would recommend this tour to anyone looking to see the coastal area of Cinque Terre.

Excellent for young people! Tour guide was fantastic. Benjamin was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. He was very helpful and helped us get through the overcrowded area. He made last minute changes to meet our needs. If you go on this tour you should request Benjamin. This area is amazingly beautiful, but very overcrowded and there are no cue lines so people push through getting on and off the boat and train. Do not bring young children, you will lose them! The landscape is very difficult to navigate. Steep inclines and lots of steps. Think twice if you are over 40.

Going to Cinque Terre has been in our list for a while. Our tour to Italy did not include this area and did not offer the option to add it. Viator was highly recommended, and we decided to get a private tour. Our tour guide, Mario, was awesome. He was on time, respectful, friendly, knowledgeable and cordial. He was able to make a 13-hour tour 'fun'.

Andrea is the owner of the tour company and we were fortunate to have him take us on the tour. But I expect that the urge to satisfy customers got to be the culture throughout. We were greeted in a brand new nice vehicle with goody bags which had water bottle and some sweets. Andrea went out of the way to make our experience exciting, smooth and comfortable. With great knowledge and experience, we got to know several things about Cinque Terre which otherwise would have been difficult to know. We requested to make reservations to a great restaurant and those were promptly made and we enjoyed that very much. We were taken on Ferry and train and some special places to taste coffee and focaccia bread. Entire Cinque Terre landscape and coasts are scenic and we enjoyed it at fullest at our own pace. On the way back, we saw marble mountains and that was something unique. Andrea did not complain even though the tour stretched to over an hour more than originally planned. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a great experience!

My husband and I booked the Cinque Terre and Pisa tour with Andrea and let me just say: it is TOTALLY worth it! I looked at quite a few trips to Cinque Terre and Pisa out of Florence and decided to book this one so we could hit both attractions. Andrea is a great tour guide who is very friendly, knowledgeable, and great to be around. He picks you up in a very clean car around 8 AM and drives you to Cinque Terre. Along the way, he’ll give you facts about the different cities you pass through. Once there, you park the car and tour through the first little village and then you can train or boat to the next few villages. We highly recommend the boat ride so you can see the different villages from the water. You do have to pay for the boat ride, but I think it was about $14 a person. You’ll eat lunch at a lovely restaurant along the water and see 3 of the 5 villages (which we were happy with). He shows you all of the cool spots to take pictures, see the water, etc. Andrea was very thoughtful and had water to provide along the way and a towel so you can get in the water if you’d like. Cinque Terre is quite hilly so just know a lot of hiking is involved to get around. Pisa was also very cool and I think we spent the perfect amount of time seeing the tower, church, etc. It is a longer day (~12 hours) so make sure to bring snacks, jump chargers, and layers. We would absolutely recommend taking this tour as it was worth the money and we had an amazing day. Thanks again, Andrea!

Bad Guide

The spots we visited lived up to our expectations. But, our guide was disappointing. He was an hour late, not engaging, and seemed distracted with personal matters throughout our tour. We would have been better served with a driver. At one point during one of several “breaks”, he left us waiting in the car while he walked around the parking lot on the phone. Not only did we invest a lot of money for that tour, we invested almost a full day of our trip. We loved seeing Centra Terra and Pisa, but would never recommend the guide we had.

This trip was incredible. Our in guidance put their heart and soul into the tour. They did anything and everything they could to ensure we had a wonderful time. It is a very long full day, but completely worth it. Not only do you get to see the Leaning Tower Pisa but an absolutely gorgeous coast line and multiple little coastal villages. Including the one that the movie Luca was inspired by. Highly recommend, the tour and the guides or 5+ stars.

We had a wonderful tour for the 3 of us. Andrea was a fantastic driver and tour guy. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and patient. He picked us up at 7:30 am from Florence to start our tour of Cinque Terre. He took the time to take us through Manarola, then accompanied us on a train to Riomaggiore, and allow us to spend time on the beach before then taking a boat to Vernazza. Having Andrea as a personal guide for our family was fantastic. He even anticipated needing a reservation for lunch, and booked lunch at Gianni Franzi--with a table right near the beach. He gave us a walking tour through these 3 towns, then helped us with the train back to Manarola. We were allowed to take our time, despite running behind schedule for our final drive to see Pisa before returning to Florence at 9:30 pm. He was extremely patient, and knowledgeable about these sites, history, economics, etc.
