Absolutely amazing experience at Schindlers Factory. Our tour guide was exceptional and was so engaging. He really made his stories come alive and we learnt so much. The factory itself is very insightful and was focused around Krakow during the second world war. Couldn't recommend this tour and our guide enough.

Had a great experience here. We didn’t realise but we had booked onto a tour and I am so glad we did. The tour guide was lovely with a great sense of humour and told us stories from WW2 and Nazi occupation that we did not know and explained the inaccuracies of the film “Schindlers List” while giving factual information. The stories about Nazis and their behaviours were exceptionally disturbing and horrifying but well worth knowing. I won’t tell you them so you can hear it for yourself. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. There are a lot of steps though so be prepared - I walk with a stick but our guide was patient and waited for me to get to where they were before explaining each part. Thank you so much for such a brilliant experience!

The amount of information , pictures, letters bought it all to life but it was extremely crowded and difficult to keep to the group with other visitors getting in the way. It felt rushed as we didn't have enough time to read or look at all of the exhibits.

A somber but fantastic tour Great guide The museum is set out in chronological order showing the gradual change in life in krakow from 1939 as the Germans gained control and gave a really good impression of how slow changes gradually led to the holocaust

The museum is very good but there just too many people booked on the tour. It made it very difficult to see what the guide was talking about. Numbers needed to be halved.

We found the experience very informative and our guide gave us an excellent insight into that part of history. While we like to think we have learnt about the war in our history classes, this tour gave a much more personal perspective of the situation and gave us a better understanding.

Memorable tour with guide Phil

We booked a 10.15am tour with tour guide Phil. He was so engaging and knowledgeable I’d really recommend. His stories and humour made the experience memorable. Explanations were clear and he was always willing to answer any questions asked. The museum itself is really small. Taking a self guided tour would not be advisable as the arranged tours, like ours, take up most of the space in each room. We visited the Jewish ghetto area after to really get a feel of what horrors occurred in WW11. It all made so much more sense after the tour.

Our guide spoke excellent English and was very educated in the subject area. She gave us a very comprehensive history of Krackow during German occupation and what life was like for the Polish people and of course the Jewish people at that time. Links were made between Schindler himself, and to the film Schindler’s List. However, because the factory is a museum now, I was not able to visualise the day to day life of the Ghetto workers nor their relationship with Schindler. This may have been due to the speed of our tour which gave no time really to stop and read information or look closely at photographs because we were keeping up with and listening to our guide. She managed our group very well considering the number of other visitors that day.

The guide was knowledgeable and friendly however the museum itself was far too crowded. It felt that we missed a lot of information because we were being rushed from room to room. Other visitors not on the tour were also trying to get through the middle of the group constantly which was disruptive to the flow of it.
