Fabulous trip to Zakopane and tantra mountains. Matthew great guide well organised and on time . Lots of own time and historical information. Mountains were beautiful , highlanders really interesting and cheese hut lovely . Ski jump was great to at least see it and Zakopane lovely little village highly recommend the tour and using this company

Ok but would not really recommend this trip

Having done this trip we didn’t rate it as we were left in zakopane for over 3 hours which we felt was too long, it’s a town with markets and shops and restaurants. There was a nice view of the mountains after the trip on the venicular, it’s not a cable car and only took 3 minutes. The guide was knowledgeable so could not fault him but there were 9 of us in a small minibus type vehicle which felt cramped.

What an absolutely fabulous day! Our guide Mike R was very knowledgeable and sent us some great recommendations throughout the day. I personally loved the cheese but some people didn’t as they found it too smoky. Unfortunately the cable car was under maintenance but the walk was fine and the view was worth it! We were given a lot of free time to look at some shops or grab some food which was nice. Bring some good walking shoes and sun cream!

Gorgeus Tatras and Zakopane

The most memorable part of the trip was Tartras, especially the look to Tatras from Gubalowka mountain in Zakopane. The view was absolutely stunning. The all day was very interesting and also well organized. Special thanks to our guide Mateusz, who was competent and well informed. I liked travelling in small group.

We love Daniel! This was truly the most magical experience of our entire trip to Poland. We thought we were just booking a regular trip up the mountains and were pleasantly surprised to find out all of the things that were included in this. We had the most magical day and Daniel made the experience 11/10 and something we’ll never forget. We’ll be recommending this to all of our friends and family who visit Krakow in the future. Zakapone is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. It is like a winter wonderland, like a Christmas town right out of a movie. The tour guide Mattheus gave brilliant insight into the Highland culture and Polish culture generally. There are various great stop offs and the tour is well worth the price. Top marks.

Had a great day out in Zakopane. Thomasz, the driver and guide was exceptional. He gave us interesting facts, was polite and courteous and made sure we had a great day out. We didn't get to see the Tatra mountains due to the weather making for poor visability but the snow made up for it.

A really great day trip. The guide was really lovely and shared loads of information about each part of the trip. He also communicated really well about pick up times and spots. Great stops off along the way and the mountains were stunning. I really enjoyed the whole day.

Disappointing

This was very disappointing the weather forecast was bad on the day and I don’t understand why this trip was not cancelled. We were unable to go on the funnicular ride or the cable car due to mist. Instead we hiked 35 minutes up the hill to get a beer not ideal as only one place was open. Offered a ten pound refund on a trip that cost £50 per person. I know weather is out of their control however £10 refund not acceptable. Guide was ok but he left before we were even dropped by to our hotel.

This is a very nice excursion and I definitely recommend it. Although it takes a while to get there, there are interesting stops along the way. Once in Zakopane we had 3 hours free time. The funicular ride ticket is included and 3 hours is long enough to ride it plus eat and shop.

Beautiful drive with many merchants seeking their crafts

Enjoyed the stops along the way Mathew took us too: from sheep cheese tasting to the old church built in 12 th century (I believe) Zakopane on a Sunday is nuts! Many merchants out, and the weather is beginning to cool. The tram ride to the top was neat too. Enjoyed the ride to and back as well. There were eight people. Nice group.

Pretty mountain town but very busy with tourists. The tram was having issues but eventually the line started moving. Enjoyed all of the stops, nice van and the driver did a great job.
