What To Expect

This Death Valley Jeep tour begins with a hotel pickup in Las Vegas.

First, make a brief stop at the Furnace Creek Visitor Center to gather some maps for the journey. Browse some of the books for sale and collect a Death Valley stamp for a National Park passport, if desired.

From there, drive to the Badwater Basin, the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere at 282 feet below sea level. This surreal landscape at Death Valley features one of the largest protected salt flats in the world — too harsh for most plants and animals to survive in. Then travel down Badwater Road to the Devil’s Golf Course, a large salt pan on the floor of Death Valley, located in the Mojave Desert within Death Valley National Park. The rain and wind continually erode this region, shape-shifting the ground into different-looking terrain with the weather.

Finally, experience the most breathtaking view in Death Valley: Dante’s Peak, a mountaintop overlook more than 5,000 feet above the desolation of Death Valley. Pull out the smartphone or camera to capture the breathtaking panoramic views. Interestingly, on a clear day, Mount Whitney, the highest point in the United States, and Badwater Basin, the lowest point in the US, can be seen from here.

Along the way, learn about Death Valley’s history, landscape and wildlife, plus the urban legends of ghost towns and long-abandoned gold mines along the way.

Lunch is included, so please make a sandwich selection in the Special Requirements field at the time of booking. Choose from turkey, Italian, ham, deluxe turkey (with cranberry and stuffing) or veggie.

Carol was a great tour guide - personable, professional, flexible. We anticipated the long tour but were really tired! A couple of roads were closed due to previous day’s rain, but we still saw lots! My main disappointment was not seeing the Ubehebe crater, but the rest of the tour was excellent
Very enjoyable trip

Must see National Park
Theodoros_F, Dec 2022
A must see National Park in the US!! The biggest and most extreme National Park in the US! It’s a huge area, with so many different and incredible landscapes! We were a bit sceptical before booking the tour, as we didn’t know what to expect from the Death Valley, but it’s definitely amazing and we feel Lucky that we be been there!! We had several stops with our super Jeep in the Death Valley, and learnt incredible information about the area! Definitely worth the trip!

Our tour guide, Jurgen, made the trip memorable with his personality, his sense of humor, his knowledge and his joy in being a guide. The vehicle was very comfortable. The views were fantastic. We were very fortunate to have a beautiful day. The lunch was filling and we had a lovely spot to eat.

Wonderful journey to Death Valley - awesome views and pictures- ride was comfortable and easy going - this was the best tour I’ve taken in Vegas - our driver Phil did everything to make the trip pleasant, , stops , bathroom breaks , get some snacks , did a great job on taking many photos .. don’t miss out on this .. maybe you’ll get lucky and get Phil to do your adventure..!
Loved it! Worth the long day.

We had an amazing day with our guide Don Ritchey! This was a long tour but so worth it. We started around 6:30am for pick up and returned around 5:45pm. There are plenty of stops along the way for breaks. We even managed a quick stop at the "nut house"...great little candy store. The art exhibit in the middle of the desert was cool to see. Salt Creek Trail was beautiful with water you could hear trickling (in the middle of the desert!!!). Badwater Basin was beautiful to see while looking way up the mountain to see the sea level sign. My favorite was the artist palette. The colors were amazing and I'd love to hike there. We've done the Grand Canyon tour and the Death Valley Tour was my favorite by far. So much to see.

Breathtaking views - was glad we chose the Pink Jeep tour - Mike was so informative and we would have had no idea where to go to see things on our own
Fantastic tour and Guide
Mark_F, Oct 2021
Obviously the landscape was amazing. What was a super plus was our guide, John. His knowledge of geology, the entire region, personality etc made him the only guide who should be conducting this tour. Looking forward to our next trip to Vegas and we’ll do the Grand Canyon with him.
Great tour.
Constance_W, Oct 2021
Dennis was great. Share with us many interesting facts about the area. The stops we made had great scenery and Dennis offered to take pics of us. Anyone wanting to see Death Valley from Vegas, this is definitely the way to do it. Most importantly plenty of water available.
