The whole experience was memorable. The pilot was very friendly and informative. The views of hoover dam, lake me and lake Colorado were out of the world. To actually walk over the skywalk was fabulous and the view from the Grand Canyon itself words can not explain. Definitely a must do experience. Loved every second of the whole trip.

Brilliant! Very well organised. Our pilot Cole was very friendly. We were in a group of 6 in our helicopter. The views of the Canyon are breathtaking. We did the optional Skywalk but don’t feel it’s necessary as you can get better views at Guano point. Would definitely recommend.

Papillon Helicopters delivered exactly as promised except that they rebooked us on to a later trip (1230 rather than the 11am we’d booked) without asking or wondering if it was even possible for us. It was not for any good reason and likely only to accommodate a bigger group on the tour we booked. Whilst I can understand that, what happens to the idea of booking in advance. Luckily we had booked the 930pm Cirque do Soleil rather than the earlier show, but this change by the tour company would have messed us up if not as we would not have been able to manage both. Everything else from the pickup to the drop-off worked perfectly. The pre-booked Canyon Skywalk option was definitely worth doing. The Skywalk is OK - good to do but not essential or good value, but is made worth it by this trip allowing us to skip the one hour queue (sorry guys!). If it were not for the pre-booked express line ticket, it would absolutely not be worth queuing an hour for the Skywalk. The up-front helicopter seats are worth the extra $60 to secure them (as long as the body weights of each passenger allows this) and you don’t find out until just before the flight whether you can Bagsy the front seats (and pay the $60 each). To be fair, I didn’t see the view they were able to get from the back seat, but it definitely was not as good as ours!

Excellent trip on the helicopter seeing the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon but disappointed we left 45 mins late and were told at one point we could have the time added on to our time in the Canyon but later when at the Canyon were told we couldn’t. Hence we rushed our visit to the Sky Walk and Guano Point. However, when we returned on time to catch the bus back to Vegas, we were told our time had been extended!! However as no one had told us this, it was too late to return to Guano Point. We also had been looking forward to seeing the Native American jewellery and crafts that should have been at the market at Guano Point. There was no market.

Well worth the experience. It was a truly amazing adventure from start to finish, the views were out of this world. We paid extra to sit in the front seats ( weight distribution has to be confirmed first ) but we’ll worth the extra cost. Skyline was backed up, we queued up for over 1 hour , truthfully, after the views from the helicopter you really do not need to go onto the skyline.

Picked up on time , check in swift and concise . Flights out and back great . Felt we were a little rushed due to lack on transfers between view points so had to wait 20-30 minutes and not the 5-10 suggested . Otherwise all good and professional

Had an amazing time from start to finish. We were collected from our hotel on time by a lovely driver & looked after by wonderful check in staff. We had different pilots for the outbound and return journeys but both were lovely and made us feel safe and welcome. We had the perfect amount of time at the canyon, and we’re able to see everything we wanted to before being taken back to our hotel again. Really would recommend, worth every penny and would love to go again.

Unprofessional and badly organised operator

Unfortunately despite choosing (booking, asking for a confirmation and paying in full several weeks before), our trip was cancelled at exactly the same time we were supposed to be picked up (maintenance). Our children were devastated. The entire itinerary, flights and hotel booking were centred around the tour which after cancellation could not be slotted in. A professional organisation endeavours to ensure that sufficient crafts in good stead are available and if not inform customers of the risk and allow them sufficient alternatives to be planned. If they ahd informed me a day before (even a night before), I would have rearranged an alternative with them. An organisation should not commit into things it does not have the ability to deliver. We would warn all customers to avoid Papillon and contact your hotel beforehand for suitable companies. They did not respond to any of my requests for refund and luckily Viator with their decent customer service handled all the portion for me (thanks Viator).

Our pilot Kevin was entertaining and informative. The views just amazing, smooth ride, everything on time. Papillon took good care of us. Not enough time at the skywalk due to long line. On the other hand, the flight covered everything and more, the skywalk was not necessary, just a waste of time and money.

I was very disapointed ... we did not go , yes we were told to meet at aiport, but we were on 26 floor with no elevator - we had to find the elevator for staff. we were late and the driver took off. I would not spend $ 1,512.40 for nothing - I was very upset and Viator refused a refund.... very sad - that should have been the highlight of the weekend
