This tour was a lot of fun! The tour guide, Maria was brilliant! She brought the stories to life. I loved hearing about the ghostly history of London and the pubs. I’d recommend this.

Enjoyable evening (weather was perfect) and the tour stories were interesting. Got to go in to some pubs that we likely would not have if we weren’t on the tour! Great way to spend an evening in London. Only wish I could be there for the Halloween walk!

The tour guide Mark was really good. Lots of cool information and stories of famous ghosts but also some good history facts and stories about London. The stop offs to the pubs were the icing on the cake as you could have a nice glass of wine and soak up the atmosphere and discuss the stories.

Not what it’s billed as!! Not a “haunted pub tour”

If I could give this tour one star, I would. It bills itself as a “haunted pub tour”, but the guide immediately made it clear that we walked passed pubs not to stop and get a drink. When one set of the group went in and got a drink he told them they had to down it. Furthermore the guide seemed like he may have been ill or drunk because he was standing WAY to close and drooling badly. Not my idea of a good tour so we left and we’re told they would not give us a refund. Don’t bill yourself as a “haunted pub tour” if you are not wanting to take the group to pubs. Everyone on the tour was completely confused and asking each other why were not stopping for pints of beer

Hi Angie. All of our tours stop at three pubs and include ghost stories. I called the other guests on your tour who confirmed they did visit 3 pubs. I contacted the guide who mentioned a couple left right at the beginning of the tour- I am guessing this was you. If you would like to do the full tour and visit the pubs, we can book you onto another one.

hi. Mark the tour guide is a great orator and knows his London history. He really brought the stories to life. We would have liked to hear much more about ghosts and hauntings however, as that is how the tour was sold. We discovered some great pubs particularly The Cheshire Cheese although 3 in two hours is too many imho. This trip has inspired me to find out more about London pub and all the social history and go visit a few. and I will be trying out other London walks as its a great way to meet fun people. Very enjoyable. thanks Mark

This tour should have been called...

This tour should have been called Random Facts of London History, Out of Order, Oh- and a Few Pubs on the Way. The tour guide was knowledgable, but he repeated himself a lot and the stories seemed to drag on, with no real point or climactic ending. My favorite quote from the tour was There have been no known ghost sightings in this bar, maybe just a shadow or something, but it has meat pies, and in 19th century London it was an urban legend that people put cats in meat pies. I'm glad I got to see some central London pubs, but the Haunted London part was quite a stretch. There was no Victorian prison. Our guide didn't carry a lantern or anything useful to help identify himself either, just a khaki hat. If you're looking for someone to show you a few historic pubs in central London, then this could work - that is if you can handle the poor pointless story telling in between.
