Informative Tower of London small group tour.

Excellent introduction to the Tower and area. Would recommend the early morning visit, as was easy to locate, could hear everything Guides had to share, and beat the crowds to explore on our own after.

Long day ahead

Be prepared for a long day on this trip. It was very beneficial to go early because the lines were crazy right when they opened. The beefeater was very knowledgeable but very short when people had questions. If you go also be prepared to be waiting in lines for the towers and Jewel house. It was very congested!

It was great not to have to wait in a long line to get into the Tower, Our tour director, Michael, was superb! He was very entertaining and informative! It was a treat to have a small group while meeting with the Beefeater!

Natalie was awesome and thought us so much! Our Beefeater guide was extremely insightful and shared a great history of the castle. The earlier start time of 8:30am let us skip the crowds.

Wonderful way to Experience the Tower of London

This was by far the best tour of the Tower of London we have done. Our tour guide, Jo, gave us a wonderful overview of the Tower. Then we were passed off to our own Beefeater, YW Thynne. He was a very fun and enthusiastic tour guide. We were then free to explore the grounds at our own pace.

We learned so much inside and out of the Tower from our guide and then our Beefeater. We had as much time as we wanted after the tour to wander around and view the Jewels

The tour guide and and the Beefeater were both great. This was the highlight of our trip so far. Doing the early tour was best - smaller groups with the guide and beefeater, and we beat the crowd to the crown jewels

Our guide was wonderful with tons of great stories for us. The lady Beefeater was fantastic. She was so knowledgeable and I really enjoyed hearing about her experiences. It was amazing to be there early and just be able to see the Crown with no lineup and spend as much time as I wanted there.

Disappointed in the assistance

After paying $280 aud. There were stoppages on the train line and we were half an hour late. We travelled for and hour and half to get to the Tower of London. My mum has terminal cancer and we were doing her bucket list, they wouldn't even give us a ticket to just get in. We ended up purchasing new tickets at our own cost and did our own tour. I honestly wouldn’t even bother as you can get free information along the way.

Beefeater tour is amazing and highly informative. Only downside was I was underwhelmed by the white tower. I was expecting more of a living castle rather than a repository of armor and weapons.
