Our tour guide was very informative and she gave great insights into the area and the driver Sohren knew his way around those back roads! Burton on the Water and the town of Burford had wonderful town centers with shopping and places to eat.
So many quaint and picturesque villages to see ....

We had a wonderful day despite the rainy weather. It did not deter at all from the tour. The villages are so quaint and picturesque that the tour would be good in any weather. The only negative was that the bus was a bit too small for the number of people, it was fully booked and there was nowhere to move. I was seated next to a large person who took up more room than a not so large person, so it felt a bit cramped.

Simon was a good tour guide, he kept us entertained during the bus ride. Lawrence was a great driver. The villages are very picturesque and the people are nice. My only disappointment was in the number and quality of places to eat. We did fine some good stuff but was expecting more I guess.

Our guide, Angela, was excellent! Very knowledgeable and a good communicator of the history. We would have enjoyed a little more time at the first two stops. We realize the drive time makes that difficult.

Superb trip, outstanding guide. Consider booking this trip. The small bus enabled us to see areas large buses would not be able to go, and taking the train is not an option. This is the easiest way to see the charming Cotswolds!

The trip on the smaller coach was fantastic - great to be able to go where the larger coaches cannot. Our driver Bill was excellent - smooth sailing all the away. Our guide Peter was exceptional. Lovely day in the Cotswolds

My wife, two adult children, and I had a very nice time on this day tour to the Cotswolds. Mannon, our guide, was affable and amusing, and provided great general information about the region along the way, fully preparing us to spend one to two hours exploring each location independently on foot. Meanwhile our driver, Bill, expertly guided the modern, clean, comfortable mini-coach down narrow lanes and around the tight corners of these old British villages. There was adequate time to stroll the streets of each location, visiting shops, taking photos, and grabbing a bite to eat. A few reviews that I read complained about a long drive for limited time in each location, but that’s simply the way it’s got to go with a day-tour to an area that’s two hours outside London. For anyone looking for more time in this region I’d certainly recommend planning an overnight stay, as it is quite beautiful. All in all, this was a professionally run outing that offered exactly what was promised in the tour listing. We’d definitely travel with Evan Evans Tours again, and would love to have Mannon as our guide.
