We had a great time. Tour guide was excellent. Very fun learning about the history. It was a little on the cold side as most of the tour does take place outside so dress appropriately.

Beefeaters, Ravens and Jewels, Oh My!

We loved our experience at the Tower of London. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour very pleasant. He was able to time our visit so we could see the opening key ceremony, arranged for us to have an amazing Beefeater to speak to us for over 15 minutes, which was a highlight of the tour! We learned so much and enjoyed our time on the tour.

Great Location but nothing VIP about it. Not worth the extra money

This is not worth the money. Although Maria was very knowledgable (we liked her) all the information you can read in the tower as you walk around. You can visit the Crown Jewels anyway and the Beefeater Meet and Greet was a non-starter. There was nothing VIP about this experience at all. We left halfway through. Our Beefeater (Andy) was late meeting us. He looked like he had just rocked up out of bed and had been on the "Beefeater Gin" the night before. It felt very rushed with him and like he didn't want to be there. Great venue and location. Maria was nice, but again totally not worth the extra money and nothing VIP about it.

Ben our guide was enthusiastic and well versed. He mastered the obscured humorous and tragic details to make your visit ooze with a glimpse of a history centuries old. He painted in words a portrait of the tyrants and victims of days gone by and brought home the changes that made the tower into a museum of not just jewels and ramparts, but of a living window of culture change. Very highly recommended.

This is a fantastic experience. Having a small group and a blue badge tour guide provides you the best opportunity to hear about the London tower and learn unique stories and ask questions. Also the meet and greet with the beefeater in this setting allows for better photos and a more personalized experience. You also get to skip the line and watch the opening ceremony so you save time!

This was a great tour of the Tower of London. Our guide John was fantastic and our audience with the Beefeater was really interesting. I’ve done this tour twice now and learned new things each time. This time my 17 year old came along and he was impressed as well.
