There are four cruise terminals at Southampton. In normal circumstances the coach will take an hour or slightly less to travel from Stonehenge to Southampton arriving between 1:30pm to 2:00pm. At Southampton step off the coach and walk straight to the check-in desk. Porters will take care of your luggage, ensuring it is delivered directly to your cabin. Make sure you use the luggage label in your cruise pack to facilitate this.

Pickup details

We offer a pick up from any London city centre hotel (Zone 1), Airbnb property and selected Heathrow Airport hotels. London city centre pick ups begin at 07:00am, and Heathrow airport hotels pick up is between 9.00am and 9.45am. Unfortunately we are unable to collect from Heathrow airport terminals. On the morning of your departure please wait in your hotel lobby 10 minutes prior to your pick up time. Your tour guide or driver will come into the hotel to find you and will be holding a board reading "International Friends". If you are not staying in the hotel that you have selected as the meeting point, you must inform us of where you are staying so that we can contact you if necessary.

We were not planning on going to Stonehenge on this trip but after we saw the prices of transportation from London Hotel to Southampton cruise port was so high, I found this sightseeing excursion that ended at the Southampton cruise port ! It was the best way to travel with a bonus, we saw Stonehenge! I would recommend this tour! Happy we go to see Stonehenge! The driver Steven and tour guide Rachel were so friendly and fun!🤩

Finally, after many years of waiting, we got to check Stonehenge off the bucket list. It was an amazing experience and the tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining.

I'm only giving a two star rating, because we did make it to our Cruise Ship! The pick up in London by the coach and representative was great. However, after the last pick up, the representative left the group, with the coach driver only. It was his first time. Almost immediately, things started to go wrong - including being diagonally stuck on a street corner in downtown London for 20 minutes; countless back streets, wrong turns to get out of London; zero communication (I mean zero) from the coach driver; no idea what to do (and no instructions to his passengers) on arrival at Stonehenge; once again - many wrong turns, u-turns and indirect routing to eventually get to Southampton to catch our cruise ship. On board our transfer bus, were two different groups of passengers, for two different cruise ships. The first group were dropped off fairly easily - though incredibly late. For those of us still on board for the second ship - we were frantic, as boarding must be completed by 3pm. At 3.05pm we finally left the first cruise ship departure area, and headed to ours. To have the driver go straight past it! One of our fellow passengers, had to take control, and explain to the driver that he had just driven straight past our drop off point; and that once again, we had to do a u-turn to get to our destination. Only giving this two stars because: we did get picked up, we did go to Stonehenge, and we did get to our ship - as outlined in the description. BUT - the company running this should provide a lot more assistance to their first time drivers. We could not believe our luck that the cruise line still let us check in, so late, despite assurances from the transfer company that we would be there at least 30 minutes prior to cut off time. Instead it was 20 minutes past cut off time. Very stressful.

Communication in preparation for our pick up at our hotel was excellent and they were right on time. Cathy narrated our drive through London as we picked up other travelers. Steve did an amazing job navigating the coach. Time at Stonehedge was perfect for enjoying the stones, Cafe, and the exhibits. We were dropped off right at the entrance to check in for our cruise while Steve unloaded the luggage and made sure it was given to the right people for our ship. An absolutely seamless day. Comfortable, informative, entertaining, and an excellent value. Cathy and Steve made it all so easy. Thank you!

Timely picked up at our hotel but it was not fun to go to Heatrow for another pick up. However, the tour was great, especially our tour guide. Dave was very accommodated, knowledgeable and tentative. Primary reason for this tour was going to the cruise port in Southampton, and yet we had a chance to visit Stone Henge on the way. They even dropped us off at our hotel since we stay overnight in Southampton. Many many thanks for that and a great tour.

BEWARE - you will be on the bus a LONG time if you are picked up first at your hotel

9/29/23 - We were picked up at our hotel at 7:00 AM and were told we would be picking up passengers at two more hotels. After stopping at 7, yes 7, hotels, and 3 hours of driving around London to the different hotels, we FINALLY headed to Stonehenge and arrived at 11:45 AM. By the time we arrived at Stonehenge, we had been on the bus for 4 hours and 45 minutes! We were now behind schedule, so we had to be back on the bus by 1:30 PM. We would have liked to have walked the path, both up and back, from the stones (about 1.3 miles each way), but because our time was so limited, we had to take the shuttle. After leaving the stones, it was another hour drive to the Southampton port, so we arrived at 2:30 PM. Only good thing about arriving at the port at 2:30 PM was that no one else was waiting to board the ship, so we were through security and on the ship within 15 minutes. Just beware that if you are the first stop to be picked up, you will be on the bus a very LONG time before arriving at the stones.
