It was really a memorable experience with city cruises , the entire trip was quite comfortable , hassle free , organised and above all the tour guide was wonderful person who kept the whole trip too interesting citing history behind all monuments and bridges along the river side, which was amazing. I would say that this cruise trip as its one of its own kind of experience ,, so njoy have fun. Thank You !!

Fantastic way to see the best sights in London. The live commentary from the tour guide is an absolute must, not only really interesting but also extremely funny. Definitely added a lot of enjoyment to our tour! Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

No show no apology

The ticket was sold but the company didn’t run the cruise. Instead I had to do the cruise with another company that left 20 minutes later. This is the second time a tour has been cancelled for me using Viator app. I suggest front up and buy the ticket on the day that way you know what you are getting

Good one way ride

A perfect one way ride from Westminster to tower bridge. The ride was approx 1 hour with a very humorous voice guide. You can choose the upper deck or lower deck depending on your preference. It was cloudy but our family took the upper deck and glad we did. The views were spectacular, especially the tower bridge was a lot more than we expected.

Nice cruise but book direct with City Cruises

Do not book with Viator. We booked a 2 pm book the day before. Got there and found it had been cancelled. Could not get a refund from City Cruises since we hadn’t booked directly, nor under Viators policy and we could not find a way to contact them. No phone or chat number anywhere. Fortunately City Cruises let us use our tickets on a 3 pm boat. The little cruise was fine, very enjoyable. But next time we will book direct. viator also charged more than if we’d booked direct.

Me and my family had a good time late October 2023 on the cruise on a sunny Sunday. The tourguide - the second to the captain - was good at explaining the sights with a dash of decent humor.

It says on the listing that this cruise is 1 hour, but it is only 30 minutes! Also, we booked it since it said there was commentary and they actually gave an option for there not to be commentary right before starting..? So I don't think there would be any commentary if enough people voted no, which would have defeated the purpose of our booking this.

We took the one way trip from Tower Pier to Westminster and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The staff at Tower Pier were lovely (although our tickets scanned as already used for some reason) but the real gem of this cruise was Jack, part of the crew, who did a really funny commentary for us. He was brilliant and totally made it. Highly recommend these cruises whether you want to do a longer one to Greenwich or just a short 25 minute one, they’re great.

Really enjoyed the trip and the commentary was great , gets really busy and most want to sit upstairs so i would queue earlier than your time if that’s you! Also take Snacks with you, just don’t buy any as they are so expensive, which i did expect but 3 bags of crisps and 3 cans of coke cost me £12.20 ! Also you can smoke at the back of the boat!

It was exciting experience for a first time river cruise in London. We enjoyed taking pictures and videos and relaxed sightseeing. I was so glad we’re able to catch up even though we were late a little bit. We will do it again next time, we really enjoyed it though it was short.
