What To Expect

In the morning, greet your guide outside of Tower Hill underground station. From there, you’ll make the short walk to the Tower of London. On arrival, your guide will give you context about the history of the Opening Ceremony, during which you’ll see the Duty Yeoman Warder and a military escort march to open both the middle Tower and the Byward Tower.

Then, you’ll be one of the first people to head inside the iconic London landmark and admire the Crown Jewels. After hearing about more than 1,000 years of history, you’ll continue to Tower Bridge, for panoramic views of England’s capital from the lookout point.

Our tour began at the Tower of London with the opening ceremony for the Tower .. and with the early access we were able to see the Crown Jewels before the crowds ...Words cannot express how amazing all of this was, the exhibit is very informative. We then walked to the Tower Bridge, where our guide gave us our tickets and then we all walked over the bridge for some great views of London.

This was a good tour which includes early access to the opening of the Tower of London which includes the crown Jewels, and then Tower Bridge. It lasted 3 hours and then we git the bridge...which they give you the tickets to the bridge at the 3 hour mark and then you see the Tower and equipment rooms. We were in a tight schedule and since it said 3 hours, we thought that meant 3 hours. It is a 4 hour tour. We had to leave and missed the bridge part.

Such a great tour! John, our guide, was a wealth of knowledge and he also had a great sense of humor. Our small group was one of only two small groups that were allowed in to watch the guards open the tower; it was both educational and really interesting. The tour was the perfect balance of time to explore and guided activities. We really appreciated it being in early, especially as the crowds were quite thick as we were leaving. Highly recommend - thanks to John and his guide abilities!

The meeting time is early but totally worth it! Very clear instructions were given on how to find the meeting place. But you must be on time! As we have to beat the crowds! You cannot bring large bags as they are not allowed through security at the Tower of London. They will search your bags. You go in and are escorted privately by a Beefeater and he will speak to you for a bit before the guards come down with the keys to open the gates (Tory the general public in). So cool! Then you run up the hill to get the first look at the Crown Jewels. There was no line, we were the first ones. You then tour white tower on your own. Before being led out to tower bridge. You tour the bridge on your own as well. The guide will speak to you at several points along the way and give you information on the history. But they do not go into any of the buildings with you. Wear comfortable shoes! The ground can be uneven through the cobble stones! And you can climb the stairs at the bridge to beat the line for the lift. Overall a very good day! It took about 4 hours.

Fabulous semi private tour of the tower and Crown Jewels. It seemed early for us but I highly recommend it! You get a private viewings lots of time for questions and all fine before the huge crowds arrive. Definitely worth it!

We were very impressed with this tour the fact that we got in before it opened and made a huge difference Ben, our tour guide was awesome. His jokes were a little bit off but they were that bad. They were funny. He was very informative so glad we did this to her. We felt we were in and around before any of the crowds got there when we got there, we literally were the only people there we walked across the bridge we got immediately on the bridge we looked at the and we left. I would highly recommend paying for the opportunity of getting in early.
