Great but with room for improvement

Did the morning tour. They provide you with a snack box as soon as you enter the coach bus. Nothing fancy but enough to get through the trip if you don’t want to buy anything or didn’t bring anything. They include a small orange juice box, which I would’ve preferred just water. We left around 20 min after 8:30. So that cut our time at Stonehenge by a bit. Since it is a two hour trip one way so 4 hour trip total with 1.5 hrs at Stonehenge. I personally would’ve preferred more time there. But overall a good experience.

The tour lifted my spirits of mankind’s ability to do things that seem impossible. Seeing what appears to be a large calendar is inspiring. It’s always there giving farmers the tool need to know when they do their jobs.

The bus was very comfortable and the driver gave a good overview of the parts of London we were driving through. The area around Stonehenge has been developed sufficiently to allow for people with reduced mobility to enjoy the the whole experience.

Unclear instructions on how the tour would work upon arrival at the site. Driver asking for tips is also a bit strange given the lack of tour guidance or any other value add service beyond driving us to and from the site. Overall, a low end experience.
Wished we had more time there

I liked the app with all the info. Kids liked taking pictures. One downside…we felt we could have used another hour so we could explore the exhibits. By the time we listened to the audio tour and bought lunch to eat on the bus, it was time to go. The driver/guide was great!
Worth the price for ease of transportation

Stonehenge was definitely worth the trip. I tried making it there solo and ran into issues with public transportation due to a strike. Opted for this tour to ensure my arrival and return trip. It did not let me down. We even finished out the tour close to the Museum of Natural History where I was able to continue my day after this trip.
Half day tour is all that’s needed.

This was a great half day tour, 2 hours there, 2 hours to tour - on your own, and two hours to return. My only gripe was that the driver gave a return time that more than 50% of the group ignored. This meant that we got started on our return journey almost a half hour later than planned. Not sure how to rectify this, short of giving out pagers to all tour participants or leaving without them, but it was a bit frustrating as we were anxious to get moving. The coach was comfortable enough and the driver did a good job.

I have decided to take the half-day tour from London and not get back to London but continue to my travel to Salisbury. I wanted make sure if it is possible to leave the bus on Salisbury on the way back to London. I have contacted and asked the agents which they confirmed and told me that they have noted that on my booking. Unfortunately, when we arrived to Stonehenge the tour guide told me that that the bus wont go through Salisbury and they wont be able to leave me there. So, I had to purchase an extra ticket from Stonehenge to Salisbury.

Great trip and experience. My nephew was so happy the event exceeded his expectations. I have not been there since 1988. It was wonderful to be there again. Ashley, our driver was very friendly and informative. Would highly recommend recommend this tour.

Excellent experience! The bus is PUNCTUAL so be there on time (we were running until the last minute but we finally arrived before the bus left without us hahaha) 2 hours trip on the way to Stonehenge and 2 hours trip back to London.. search for something to do, read or bother your friend like me! 100% recommended, I’ll do it again
A very average tour

This is a very average tour where you get an audio tour you download to your phone and 2 hours to walk around Stonehenge. The drive there and back is 4 hours in total and alas the driver (Armando) made very clear that he is the driver and not our tour guide and so didn’t really do anything (except share a bit about the landmarks we passed in the first half hour out of London) to enliven the drive there and back. Unfortunately this tour is not a great experience in comparison to many Viator tours I’ve been on.

One long 2 hour drive to and from Stonehenge and the ride let's you see some of England's countryside. But the time spent is limited and the weather is colder than London. However, it's a must see. Do it or you will end up regretting you didn't.

The coach driver was excellent. He gave clear instructions for what to expect and when to be back. He shared plenty of comments about the landmarks we were passing on the way there and back. On the other side, the seats weren't great and the screens were barely functional. The screens also rattled loudly against the seat backs for most the trip.

The history behind the stones was very interesting. They're not just stones on display but they tell a story of a people 5,000 years ago and how they buried their dead. Worth seeing it.
