If you are staying at a location, we do not pick up from we do offer meeting locations with free parking. Please contact our office for exact pickup locations and times for your hotel and tour. Due to the ever changing weather conditions at the Summit, please note, we may operate our Sunrise Tour in various weather conditions, with the exception of any Haleakala National Park closures

Let there be light!

Sunrise at Haleakala Crater. Was absolutely beautiful. We arrived at the crater a little over an hour from sunrise. The moon and stars were easy since there is almost no white light at the top. It does get chilly so layer up. The your company provides fleece ponchos that work well as blankets. The light show lasts approx 50 minutes until the the sun rises to a native Hawaiian chant.from the park ranger. It was well worth the early morning rise. Although there were children that were at the crater ( none on the tour; nor would I recommend it!) I do not think that they had any appreciation for the natural beauty that is provided. I would recommend that the tour company to offer an option to opt out of the breakfast to allow those guest to leave after coming down the mountain.

Wonderful experience. Billy and Spencer did a great job of educating us and taking care of our needs. Sunrise was great!! They provide a nice fleece lined pancho so we did not get too cold. We were blessed that there was no wind on the day we went.

Wow!!! We were blown away by this experience. Billy and Everett were awesome and so knowledgeable not only about the mountain, but gave great tips for our trip. We enjoyed the hotel pickup and not having to navigate the winding rounds early in the morning. We loved our breakfast too! Watching the sun rise above the clouds was magical.

It’s an early morning, but absolutely worth it! Dress extremely warm! This is coming from a New Yorker! The temperatures was in the 30s up there and your standing for about an hour to an hour and a half. Worth it though! The rangers so sang a chant when the sunrose which was beautiful! We had two guides- Everett and Billy- both amazing! Pickup was prompt, they were informative, friendly and safe drivers. They gave us hooded fleece ponchos to wear which was great and made all the difference! I would definitely recommend this tour!

Spencer & G did a marvelous job from the early morning pickup to our drop off after the excursion. We highly recommend this family/locally owned tour company. We finished with a filling breakfast having tropical Mountain views.

What a great trip! Alex and Everett were fantastic, or as Alex would say, Cherry! We were treated to three special events, a moonbow, blood moon and incredible sunrise. The weather was perfect and the sunrise over the clouds could not have been better scripted. Advise to anyone taking this trip... when you think you have enough layers, add a couple more. Everrett advised when we got on the bus that the tempurature drop will be 3 degrees for every 1000 ft of elevation, so 30 degree drop. Thank goodness the guides had fleece lined ponchos for us, what a life saver!! Thanks guys!

We loved this tour, we had a great guide “G” he was fun and very careful we got there early. Loved the warm ponchos and the sunrise was spectacular. It’s a great experience and the breakfast at Maui Tropical Plantation was delicious. I would highly recommend this tour.

This was an awesome tour!! Our tour guide Abe was incredible and very knowledgeable. He had us at the crater about an hour early which allowed us to have the BEST seats since we were the first ones there. The blue ponchos really helped to block the wind. I would definitely do this tour again!!

It was wonderful experience to Sunrise tour. Tour guide was awesome and very informative about surrounding area. Tour agency also provided warm overcoat to protect from cold at Summit viewpoint that was much appreciated.. Highly recommend to all visitors to book with this company..

Guides were friendly and informative. Appreciated the ginger chews, regular availability of bathrooms, and the hooded, cozy capes for the early morning. The sunrise was amazing. I do wish the trip there and back were shorter but that's always an issue with group tours

You can drive up yourself with a reservation and a fee but this is so worth it. Got picked up at our hotel in Wailea. Bus driver had fleece lined windbreakers for us. Dress warm though because it gets cold! Our tour was rescheduled once due to 70mph winds… we got there before the other tour buses enabling us all to get the best view right on the rail. We were given water and ginger chews for those that get a little car sick from all the winding roads. Our tour guide, G, was funny, attentive, and interactive! After the tour we went to the Maui Tropical Plantation to eat. The grounds were beautiful.
