One person of our team will contact you to give you the time and more details of the pickup process one day before your balloon flight. THE PICKUP TIME BEGINS AT 4:00 AM. The transportation service only applies from Mexico City Hotels located at Touristic Areas. It does not apply from particular residences or Airbnb and/or similar services. The transportation service is shared, subject to schedules and restrictions. In case you select the option without transportation and want to arrive by your own car, the appointment will be at Globopuerto Volare in Teotihuacán, State of Mexico, at the designated time. - Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Super early and the pick up was a bit lacking in detail. However, once your one the bus, it’s easy. The balloon ride was an amazing experience. They have different size balloons so your group will range in size from 6-12 people. The group I had was amazing and chill. Everyone was helping each other taking pictures. The balloon tour guide was great. The bus then gave us breakfast and then drove us to the pyramids. We took another tour and the people drove us back dropping us off at the hotel. Overall, it was a 9-10 hour event if you book the additional time.

The ride was just amazing! It was our first time in hot air balloon and we enjoyed every moment of it . We were a group of 12 and even though we had separate reservation, they put us all in one. From the part where they inflate the balloons, take off and the landing - it was just so amazing! Juan was our pilot and he was excellent. The landing was so smooth and safe! It is just so peaceful in the balloon - for occasional bursts of propane. We took the option for visiting the ruins. We took a guided tour ( not part of this) and we were dropped off at our hotel. Had a nice nap in the bus back. If you haven’t done a ballon tide - please do - you won’t regret!

Excellent work experience! Worth every penny. Dress in layer. Take a good camera and make sure you have a safety strap on your phone. Dropping it was my fear

AMAZING !! this is a very professional establishment and they go out of there way to create an experience for their customers. They have a great spirit of service and it is clearly shown !!
the pick up in the morning is flawless, the trip there is a little bumpy so I recommend taking any medicine if needed. When you get there everything is scheduled and all you need to do is follow the signs and the individual giving instructions. Everything is in English as well as Spanish and there is absolutely no confusion !!
Be mindful that on the way back, the trip might be longer than anticipated. CDMX has heavy traffic and it is out of the company’s control. Be patient and bring a little snack because it could be longer.
Loved this experience and would recommend it to anyone!!

My fiance and I couldn’t have enjoyed this experience more! We scheduled a pick up near our hotel in Condesa. After a 40 minute ride in a comfortable bus we arrived and were greeted at Volare headquarters. We launched just after 6:30am and began to float over the Pyramids as the sun was rising. Our pilot Ernesto was absolutely top notch. He was funny, informative and kind, as well as extremely capable at flying the balloon. We had plenty of time to take in the landscape and the ancient sight ls at various altitudes. At one point we were floating just above the top of the Sun pyramid. It was exactly what we dreamed it would be and the outfitter is extremely organized and professional. We wrapped things up with a yummy traditional Mexican breakfast and Mariachi music. We chose transfer back to the city after the flight, which was very smooth. Overall we loved the whole experience and would recommend this to anyone!

The hot air balloon experience is amazing. Our pilot Juan Manuel gave us a lot of info during the flight.
But I did reduce one star because Volare does not have a great way of listing the pick up points. For someone who is not familiar with Mexico City, you are not sure which is the closest pickup point. I was staying in Condesa so I chose the only Condesa option on the list which was a 30 minute walk away. But I later realized there was a pick up point 5 minutes from my Airbnb.
