Our guide Gabi was amazing and she made the tour memorable and so informative. Every place she took us was unique and had a history that shared more about the past and present of Mexican culture and the neighborhood. I appreciated Gabi sharing the history of indigenous peoples and the importance of understanding the past and colonialism to understand the present. Highly recommend!

This tour was a highlight of our trip. We saw amazing art and local neighborhoods we never would have been able to see on our own. We so awesome to have 2 guides - one in front and one in back directing traffic was super helpful. Was fun and safe and informative steeped in both modern and historical culture, art and architecture. Highly recommend!!

We loved this tour! We saw parts of the city we would have never seen on our own. It was a great way to be active, and learn some history of CDMX. Alberto, our guide, was lovely. He was knowledgeable, kind, and was fun to talk with! I'd recommend this to anyone who loves to bike, go off the beaten path, and learn from a local!

such a fun day! I learned so much about the city, and the culture and the architecture and the art and the food. Mexico City is a surprisingly easy and lovely city to bike around. i highly recommend this trip. Ivan is a gem: he even walked me to the metro afterwards : all the way to the platform!

A great way to learn about Mexico City

This tour was an amazing experience! My wife and I went to see some of the offbeat places around the center of Mexico City, and this tour was perfect for that. It ended up being just the two of us and our guide, Ivan, who was a great guide. We chose the north route to see more of the massive murals and ruins in a quiet atmosphere, as opposed to the south route which was described as more street art and busier. We were pleasantly surprised with the bike-friendly infrastructure, including protected bike lanes along most of the main roads and respect given from drivers and pedestrians alike. We felt safe even though some of the neighborhoods are often on lists of "do not visit" articles about the city - largely because of Ivan. The murals were all impressive, featuring depictions of ancient gods and goddesses of the Aztec culture, ruins from pre-colonial eras, and even an impressive library. It was a great way to experience the city and see the different barrios, learn about local artists, and the history of Mexico City going back to the Aztecs. To top it off, the tour ended with a lunch provided by the company. The only precaution I would say is that it is a lot of bike riding, so you definitely need to be comfortable pedaling for a few hours. The roads and routes are also not always smooth, especially off the main roads, so be careful to avoid potholes and uneven sections of the sidewalk (we also learned that the city was built on a huge lake, and many parts are actively sinking every year - so lots of cracked pavement and uneven surfaces). Otherwise, this tour is great!

This was such a wonderful experience! Ivan was a kind and knowledgeable leader. We felt safe and the pace was great. I’m 67 and my daughter (who is scared of bikes) is 38 and we both enjoyed the whole adventure. The snack at the end was well earned and delicious! I highly recommend this tour if you’re wanting to learn more about Mexico and its rich history and amazing natives. Side note: Ivan gave us a recommendation to the BEST ceviche place. He’s a fantastic guide and we were lucky to get him!

The bike tour was the highlight of our 5 day trip to Mexico City. Ivan and the staff were amazing. We learned both the history of Mexico City, the neighborhoods and the artwork and saw amazing street art! The staff was so good about our safety with bike riders in front, back and sides always managing traffic.

What a fantastic morning with Ivan. We got off the usual tourist trail into the quiet back streets and saw some incredible murals and street art. Ivan's English was excellent which was great as my Spanish is poor, so he was able to fill me in on all the back stories and history. If your tired of the crowds and the usual sites then this tour is for you.
