Our Pick up service takes place in the center of Milan (if option selected) The bus takes approximately one hour to Pick up all of the passengers, subject to traffic conditions and the number of passengers booked for that particular tour. For this reason, pick up times are shown as an interval “Starting from 6:00” means that we will pick up you at your hotel at 6:00 or after in order to be in time for the beginning of the tour.

What To Expect

Meet your guide at the Milan Visitor Center (Largo Cairoli 18), for this Cinque Terre day trip. Board a comfortable air-conditioned coach, and enjoy time to relax as you take in the stunning scenery outside your window. Listen as your guide shares facts, history, and highlights of the UNESCO-listed Cinque Terre. Discover new information about the five distinct villages that make up this coastal destination stationed on the Mediterranean Sea.

Right before lunch, catch the train to Monterosso al Mare, the largest of Cinque Terre’s five villages. Upon arrival, you’ll have plenty of free time to explore the pedestrian tunnel, cafes, beaches, and squares on your own. Enjoy lunch (own expense) at one of the numerous local restaurants.

From Monterosso, hop aboard a boat for a 90-minute cruise. Take in the views of the Italian Riviera from the sea until you reach La Spezia. Re-board your comfortable coach back on land for the return trip to Milan.

We did do Cinque Terre because it was cancelled but they replaced it with verona, Lake Garda Tour. It was Great!!! Monica was awesome and very nice.

Don’t waste your money. Go by yourself and you can plan a better trip in under 50 euros. The tour guide was useless. He rushed us through each town and didn’t know anything about the history or even the basic stuff like where you can find a toilet. In explaining the arches of Milan he said “these are doors because there was wall once…” I didn’t really need a guide to tell me that. navigating around the towns isn’t that hard even if you were to go by yourself. he was of no help anyway as we entered each town, decided a meeting spot and were left on our own to ‘explore’ in 20 minutes or at best an hour. SO if you book this tour you will basically be paying someone to ruin your trip to cinque terre.

Tour too rush

ImWe we’re not satisfied with our trip yo Cinque Terre. First of all, there were 5 people behind us that was coughing endlessly that made us sick with the flu for 2 days. The tour was very rushed. We spent most of the time getting to Cinque Terre. When we got to the destination the first town was rush 1 and the second was only 1 1/2 hours that includes the long toilet line wait. It should have been longer stay so you can appreciate the town more. The audio was very chappy and not clear. This tour was not well guided.

We were a family of siblings & partners, average age 65yrs and we had a ball!! We didn't feel rushed at all and even though there was quite a bit of walking up & down hills (of course!!), our guide made it very comfortable. Wonderful, wonderful day!!

Visiting the villages....

Visiting the villages. However, we were supposed to be picked at our hotel 6am and6:30am. The bus never showed and we had to scramble to get a taxi to meet at the meeting place on time. We were the last obonones to get on the bus and were separated in different seats. The tour it self was wonderful. However; on the way back, while everyone was resting, the bus driver decided to play the radio on a commercial station with loud music and a discussion between two people in italian. This very rude. We complained at a rest stop and the radio was turned off.

Beautiful weather. Guide provided the itinerary at start of day which was very helpful. Stopped after 1 1/2 hours both ways for bathroom and quick snack/ coffee breaks. Comfortable motor coach. Quick train ride between 2 towns and boat ride was lovely. Spent about 1 hour in Manarola which was plenty. It's small. And 1 1/2 hour in Montorosso for lunch. Great shops! Long day, about 12 hours. But saw a lot and got great pics. Enjoy the journey and beautiful scenery.

It is a good tour, but very long. I would recommend the tour company to provide a map or something that details where you are visiting and perhaps some information about that area. Noting that Viator is a tour seller not a tour operator. Imagine Expedia selling an airline ticket! Operator is different than Viator. So please pay attention as it does get confusing, especially with a language barrier and inability to contact the tour operator on a timely basis.

Stunning scenery on journey and at stops.trip was planned well .At pick up point you need to provide shelter from adverse weather.At pick up centre there was torrential rain but we were not allowed on bus.When some passengers who were completely saturated complained,the guide started shouting at us .the guide did not wait for all passengers to get off the boat and disappear without giving the next instruction,i really was very panicked being stranded .It was not clear that return to my hotel was not included.As a solo elderly lady,i was not keen to get back in dark

Manarello town was definitely the highlight with the crystal clear waters and colourful homes. There are no further highlights given how terrible our tour guide truly was. Very disappointed to say the least.

Streamlined transfer to gorgeous coast

We opted for this tour instead of trying to take the train ourselves, and it definitely served its purpose in simplifying our transportation logistics to a truly gorgeous location. The bus was very comfortable and the sites were well worth it. As for the "tour" itself, we would have been disappointed had we expected an actual tour. The tour guide was a bit difficult to understand (strong accent), the radio connection of the headsets was very spotty, and we received very little information. Other tours had narration during the cruise, but we didn't. So, if you're looking to learn something... book elsewhere. But if you want a hassle-free transfer around a beautiful national park, this fits the bill!

We opted for hotel pick-up, the driver arrived very on time and was friendly, though he can't speak much english, we figured out he was there to pick us up. Note that they won't drop you off back to the hotel at the end of tour. There were two guides, both locals and speak ok english. Nice bus with aircon. Tour ran smoothly, with clear instructions on when and where to meet up. We got just enough time to get lunch & buy souvenirs. You'll have to move quick to follow the schedules. It would be even better if the guides can introduce the place a bit more on the boat rides.

I was on the Cinque Terre tour - we were under the impression we’d learn history on anecdotes during the day - but our guide really didn’t tell us anything about what we saw after we left Milano. Perhaps she wasn’t well versed in Cinque Terre? The sites were beautiful - I just wish we learned something - anything - about what we saw instead of just being dropped off and told to meet up again after a certain time
