    Fun evening

Evan did an excellent job; he was formative and interesting in the history and ghost stories he told.
    Evan is awesome

Evan was awesome! Supremely knowledgeable, with accurate facts and riveting stories while being modest about it all. It’s clear he’s done his homework and knows his history! If you’re looking for a showman this isn’t the tour for you, but if you want interesting and real stories from a smart guy, consider this tour.
    Make this your first-night priority

This was the perfect “first night in New Orleans” thing to do after dinner, with the added bonus of helping us learn our way around the French Quarter. Small group size made it way more personal, and our tour guide, Evan was super knowledgable without being corny or theatrical about it. We appreciated the blend of history + “haunted” and it’s definitely for people who want a next-level tour experience beyond just vampires and voodoo
    Great tour with Evan!

We did a tour with Evan and he was our kind of tour guide, in that he wasn't a "character" guide, with a top hat and eye patch and some corny schtick. He had tons of information, and seemed genuinely excited to share his knowledge of New Orleans. His stories were captivating, and he had obviously researched them thoroughly, pointing out which parts could be verified as true, and which parts were possibly just a good story. We enjoyed it very much!
    Fun tour!

Fascinating history and our guide Evan was a great speaker. We learned a lot about New Orleans history. Would do it again!
    Informative

We enjoyed the factual information more than the supposed haunting information that most tours provide for effects. Our tour guide, sorry, forgot first name, had the same last name as me. I have had the other tours before and I enjoyed this one the most.
    Average tour.

Rather boring. Not worth the money. A few interesting facts. Stupid bar stop that wasted time. I did a city tour in the afternoon that was better.
    Response from Host, Mar 2023
Sorry you felt that way! Thanks for joining us. What I think separates us from an average tour is smaller groups, rich and uncensored history, and more personalized tours.
Looking for a more factual spooky tour, this is the best!

I wish that I could remember our tour guides name because he was absolutely amazing. His level of the history in the area was superb, as well as his storytelling! This is not the trip where you’re gonna learn about all the fluffy vampires and old wise tales. It was much more factual based, which I very much appreciated. We went on September 4th @ 8pm, there was a lot going on, but we moved around the city with relative ease and it was by far my favorite tour of the five that we did!
    Our tourguide, Jackson...

Our tourguide, Jackson was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We enjoyed the tour. The ghost tour was great

We thought this was going to have some spooky ghost stories. It was more like a social studies class but not so interesting. Could be that we have visited NOLA many times and already had a good handle on the history.
