Meet your instructor, Jean-Yves, a former winner of MasterChef at his private atelier and bake a colorful array of macarons using his winning recipe. With just a small group for company, you're ensured a hands-on experience with one-on-one guidance. Finally, sit down to enjoy your homemade macarons with a glass of Champagne.

    • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

    Stunning Start to our Brief Paris Visit

    Chef Jean-Yves created a fabulous, memorable, and delicious experience on our first day in Paris. He walked us step by step through the deceptively complex 4-ingredient macaron. Chef was careful to point out tricky ingredients (almond powder vs flour), tools, temperature, and professional techniques. We were invited to pipe our own macarons under his guidance. Our class ended with a delicious, gourmet treat including some of Chef Jean-Yves’ own beautiful flourishes (candied orange peel, gold chocolate accents). Bonus: the class is hosted in his stunning and historic home, which he designed in his prior career as an architect. What an absolute treat of an experience from every perspective for my teen and me. We will book another class with him on our next visit to Paris. Thank you Chef!
