These bus stops were created by the city of Reykjavik to limit traffic of buses and larger vehicles in the sometimes narrow streets in the older parts of Reykjavik. You need to be at the appointed meeting point 30 minutes before the tour starts

This is my 4th trip to Iceland but every visit is unique, interesting, and filled with stunning scenery and geology. This trip was no exception and I learned lots of new things. Our small group departure was the way to go! Our driver/guide Monica was right on time and was friendly from the very start! She was super knowledgeable and always willing to share information about the destinations and stops along the way. She made sure that everyone was comfortable and happy throughout the trip. Highly recommend this tour and especially Monica!

Amazing trip, small group...

Amazing trip, small group and the lunch was the best food I had in Iceland. The stops were beautiful. However o will say that it is okay for there to be moments of silence - our tour guide was kind and friendly but I would have appreciated it there were moments of quiet without talking or music. Just for us to enjoy the scenery.

Tour was cancelled - wish we could have gone. Full refund provided though

We unfortunately had this tour cancelled on the only day we had left to tour. It was cancelled literally as we were walking out the door (8.30am) due to road closures (we later looked and there wasn't any, I'm not sure what route they take but the main roads were open). We felt it could of been cancelled alot sooner so we could of at least tried to get onto another tour - as all the full-day tours leave between 8.30-9am so by the time it was cancelled and we tried to find something, it was all departed or spas were fully booked as the Blue Lagoon was closed. We were really looking forward to this tour, we had hyped it up to be the best one. Luckily the same operator had space on their northern lights trip that evening so we managed to do SOMETHING with our day but it was a wasted day and such a disappointment. Apart from the wind it was beautiful too so we could have done so much more with it if we'd known sooner! We did get a full refund the next day, but it doesn't make up for a missed experience and scenery in a country we may never be able to go back and visit. Advice in future, if you know it will be cancelled, try and tell your group at least an hour before the expected pickup/departure. Or, try and do the tour modified (maybe some stops aren't reachable, come back earlier) we honestly would of loved to have gone and seen what we could!

This tour was outstanding! The stops and sights were much more majestic than previous tours we have taken out of Reykjavik, and our guide, Carlos, was truly a delight. He told funny and serious stories that made the culture of Iceland almost contagious. We were pleased with his clear directions and thoughtfulness. The van was comfortable, and truly the Icelandic meal shared by our tour group was one of the best meals of our trip. Highly recommend!!

Make time for Snæfellsnes!

The area is strikingly rugged and beautiful and after a fresh snow in parts of the area, the mountains are gleaming. Definitely recommend this tour no matter what time of year to see more of the remote area that can be seen in a day tour from Reykjavik. Seals, birds, even a visit with some Icelandic horses and everything expected, and the lunch at the farm was delicious and satisfying. Simon is a fantastic guide. Lots of stories and great experience with the area as a climber and hiker himself. He also showed us a few extras to make the most of the time. Friendly, funny and engaging. Our tour mates were great as well. Would definitely recommend this tour.

The best Tour in Iceland

I am just back from a week in Iceland and completed many tours with many operators however my experience with East West and my Guide was amazing. The Tour was exactly what I had dreamed off when I thought of a winter in Iceland visiting beaches and coastline covered in snow famous Seal beaches and the Game of Thrones Arrowhead Mountain. The included lunch was also exceptional and up there with the best food I had during my week visit and the fact this was included was an amazing inclusion.

The bus was extremely modern and qualitative, heating was not a problem. The driver was amazing, I loved the folk tales that he shared as we were traveling to specific spots, and how the whole trip was built as an adventure. Would recommend this specific trip, company, tour and driver 100%

Leroy, was amazing guy, huge knowledge of culture with an incredible personality; the scenery was spectacular, probably much nicer in the winter which we luck to experience; we were super impressed how he helped a woman on our tour who was disabled and made every effort to make sure she didn’t miss anything. Memories I'll never forget

This trip was something that I wasn't too sure about booking but I am glad I did. Our driver and guide was Carlos who was passionate and engaging with everyone on board. The different locations in winter was amazing. Wrap up warm and make sure you are able to walk unaided due to some tricky bits. Of course, you don't have to do those parts, and Carlos explained all the risks and what to watch out for very well. The views were breathtaking and the food at the horse farm was something else too. I don't tend to like eating fish, but it was cooked to perfection. If you enjoy natural beauty of rugged landscapes, this is for you. Value for money and memories I'll never forget.

A fantastic tour around the peninsula and national park with an amazing and helpful guide. This was the best day tour we did (we were in Iceland for a week) and that was down to the guide, the light and scenery and the amazing lunch. Highly recommended. I wished we had booked EastWest for our other day trips as they were by far the best - even down to letting us know the vehicle reg and driver which none of the other companies did.

Excellent sights, excellent food.

I cannot adequately desribe how much fun we had on this tour. Simon, our guide, knew a lot about everything we visited. He also gave us some history and stories as we drove. The weather was grtting worse as the day progressed but he was a safe and more than capable driver. It is cold this time of year and the wind is furious but I highly recommend doing this activity. The late lunch we ate was incredible also (you eat around 3:30 because the sun sets at that time and you do not miss seeing things in daylight). The food was flavorful and plenty. I would take a trip jist for this meal, it was thst good!

Monika was a fantastic guide! It was a rainy day but we still had a blast. Her knowledge and professionalism was impeccable. My jacket unfortunately didn’t hold up well in the weather, so our guide, Monika, lent me hers! I couldn’t believe how kind and hospitable she was. She also gave us great Netflix recommendations for Iceland shows and food recommendations in Reykjavík. It’s also worth noting that the lunch was a highlight of the trip—so delicious, and cooked by the warmest people.

It was really good. Carlos was a fantastic tour guide. We didn’t go to the seal colony and I’m not sure why. That was one of the things I was much looking forward too. But Carlos made the day better by telling his stories!

Amazing Scenery

I did a number of tours while in Iceland, but this was my favorite. The scenery (waterfalls, beaches and mountains) were all amazing. The homemade meal was delicious and provided the opportunity to bond with fellow travelers. Our tour guide (Baldwin) was knowledgeable and shared so much knowledge with us and answered so many questions. This tour was a solid 5 out of 5.
