Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

We really enjoyed this trip. Great equipment provided and good instruction given. Great scenery on location. Bit of a problem with the journey to the glacier as the vehicle had to be rescued from a precarious position but in retrospect this added to the excitement!

It's a fun trip to the glacier and good views of the area from the "bus". Trip is well run and organized. The actual snowmobiling is pretty tame going out on the flats and doing some zig zags.

Incredible experience!! Professional service, and a day to remember! Around 4 hour total trip, riding in the monster truck style coach was an experience in itself, a little over an hour each way to and from the base camp. Toilet stop, clothes change, (everything you need is provided, informed of safety information and how to best operate/ride snowmobiles. 25 mins amazing scenery ride to picturesque location to stop for 10 or so minutes to take in the scenery and take photos, switch riders if sharing, then 25 mins ride back to base camp, overall a brilliant, fantastic experience. I heard one lady complain about only getting around an hour on the snowmobile as it’s a 4 hour advertised trip and seen some reviews complaining about the price being to share a snow mobile being misleading thinking they get their own, and having to pay more to have their own, also moaning about having to ride in single formation in speed with other riders. Yes….. and it’s all detailed in the description of the trip, I honestly don’t know what some people expect! The experience isn’t to race others, or to spend hours and hours on a snow mobile going where you like and as fast as you like, if that’s what you’re looking for you’ll have to put your hand in your pocket because that isn’t going to be cheap, but I’m sure this company does offer private tours where you can do similar to that if that’s what you’re after, then this is the company I’d enquire about it with. But for around £150pp/$180 sharing a snow mobile, and a little more to have your own, I believe it to be insane value for the experience you get! The trip up the mountains in the monster truck is insane! The views extraordinary! As for the snow mobile trip itself, it’s breathtaking! The snow mobiles are modern, ride well and everything and more that you could hope for as a trip on the whole. Take in the scenery, appreciate the beauty, it’s an absolute privilege to be able to experience all of this for the price. 100% recommend to do this if you’re in Iceland looking for fun, surreal and exciting activities!

We had so much fun! The guides were so fun, knowledgeable, and truly made the trip. The bus ride was very scenic and about 45min there and 45min back. We spent a lot of quality time (1 hour) on the snowmobiles and got to go into an ice glacier. The suits & helmet were super warm. Amazing experience and totally worth the price.

Amazing adventure, staff were brilliant. So picturesque. The process is simple, easy to find meeting point and the staff take care of everything. Wear thick socks and decent snow boots - you don’t realise how thick the snow is up in those mountains!!

The landscape is breathtaking. You are not given enough time to take it all in. If you have never snowmobiled this is for you. If you have been before, it will be hard to stay behind those that have never ridden before.

A good experience but as a passenger on the snowmobile the ride was awfully uncomfortable. I did not find it very enjoyable but there were beautiful views on the glacier.

Excellent Experience

The pickup location is easy to find as there is a large board on the car park which is clearly visible. We were collected on time but left slightly late due to some passengers running late. This delayed us by about 30 minutes. The trip to the ski mobiles was interesting and definitely could not be driven by a normal car! We arrived and collected our suits etc. Please be aware that the suits can fit over coats and salopettes if you prefer. The gloves are ok but I would recommend a few pairs as the right hand particularly gets really cold when operating the mobile. Anthony the instructor gave good clear instructions how to use the mobiles and kept an eye on us all through the journey. When we reached the stopping point, there were good opportunities to take photographs and the guides were really knowledgeable about the area. The experience was amazing, I would definitely recommend driving even if you are unsure. We headed back on the coach and found 2 cars stuck in the snow when travelling back to the car park. Johan, our driver, stopped and towed both cars out with the coach. If any coach driver deserves a tip it is definitely Johan, his ability to drive the coach was fantastic. Obviously this added additional time on to the journey. However, they called ahead and the cafe stayed open so we could get snacks and hot drinks before heading home. The overall trip was about 5-6 hours long. We did the 2pm slot to allow us time to explore on the way up to the meeting point. We managed to have some lunch along the way but didn't get chance to see the waterfalls. We did stumble across a working farm selling ice cream which went down well. We hoped to see the northern lights on the way back home but were unlucky so we headed to the lighthouse and had a good view from there.

A huge highlight for me! Meeting point was easy to get to, visitor centre cafe was great and right at the waterfall which was a bonus part of the day. The Snow truck up the mountains to base camp was amazing in itself, but the snowmobiling experience was a one I won’t ever forget. We took 3 children with us and all gave 10/10. The transfer to the base camp is 1 hour & then you are equipped with snow suit, gloves, helmet all included .. a quick safety briefing and it’s off over the hills for 25 mins, then photo opportunity for 10 mins and back again 25mins .. perfect!

Incredible! Couldn’t recommend doing this enough. It’s such a beautiful trip to the glacier. The only thing I would change is if the tour guides offered to take pictures for you. You have 10 minutes to get off the snowmobiles and enjoy the view but have to rely on others to take your photo. One was on his phone texting and the others chatting away from the group so felt uncomfortable asking. Other than that it was a simply amazing! Tip: wear a short, thin coat because the overalls go on top and it’s difficult to move with a huge one underneath!

Amazing trip! What a way to see the glacier! The trip up on the monster truck was brilliant! We were lucky to have mainly blue skies, so got a brilliant view! A lot of the snow mobiling we had poor visibility, but towards the end we had the most amazing view when we came out of the clouds! The kids loved a bit of thrill seeking! The guides were lovely, and made sure I didn’t get left behind (I was a bit slow!). All in all an amazing trip!
